No. It's going to be two-against-one this coming Saturday.

Your take is terrible. Alabama has one rusher who goes over 5 ypc (4 of LSU's primary ball carriers have 5, except emery with 4.9).

Milroe is not an elite runner. He is big and fast, but makes poor decisions and takes a ton of sacks (5th most in FBS, compared to LSU who is pretty middle of the pack).

Milroe also is not a good passer. All he has shown he can do is throw a decent deep ball. Their running game isn't good enough to where you need to stack the box every play. Run off ball, deep coverage in the defensive backfield (something House loves to do) and you win this game 2 to 3 scores.

Alabama got embarrassed by Texas, at Home. LSU has a better record in BDS than they do at LSU. This is not big bad scary "bama". This is an above average SEC team that lacks their usual plethora of top end talent on both sides of the ball.

LSU 45 - Alabama 27.

We hv no defense ; so I’m with down south at least 55 points unless we are gifted with 2 or 3 turn overs.

We have no defense
This! Ive felt Milroe was bad enough that Saban would have lost 2 more by now but here they are at 7-1. Could be 8-0. Our defense will make Milroe look like he is in the high running for the Heisman. I want LSU to steal one in Tuscaloosa but im afraid we aint gonna win simply because of our defensive play against our opponents this season. Saban will not pass up a chance to expose our defense like other inferior teams to Bama did this year to us and use it to get a win. My gut says we lose, i hope im wrong.

Like they ran down Texas throat? Or south Florida? Their oline is dogshit. LSU’s weakness is the secondary, I pray their game plan is to run it.

Saban will do exactly what Sean Payton just did against Mahomes. Run the ball and keep JD on the sidelines

IF we hold Bama to 31, we win...we will need to score 40 to be safe

guaranteed Saban will game plan this. If we get take aways we can win. If bama controls ball they win.

Just checked and Over/Under is actually 60.5 and we are 4.5 dogs currently. I would take the over on that and think it's more like a 38-35 type of game.
They held Ole Miss to 10. Ole Miss put up 55 on LSU's Defense. Vegas is pretty good at setting the odds.

A lot of people expect a neck and neck horserace, but it won't be. Bama's D will hold the Tigers. It's gonna be 42-17. Bama.

Take the under.

How can one gameplan to control the ball against our defense when our defense's biggest issue this year has been giving up huge plays? Looking it up (cfbstats.com), we're averaging giving up 6 yards per play on defense. We're ranked 109th in the nation on plays over 10+ yards, 94th in the country on plays against over 20 + yards, 98th on 30 +.

Saban has always seemed pretty good about attacking a team's weaknesses. Milroe has shown the ability to throw the deep ball. Our DBs have been incapable of providing even below average coverage at a consistent clip. Bama will come out shooting for big plays, and we'll get our opportunity to answer.

Big hope is their offense makes a few big mistakes and JD makes his plays. We win a shootout, something ridiculous like the Ole Miss game let's say 45-42.

45 - 50+

IMO LSU will need a strong performance from the offense to come out of this with a win. Might even be a situation where the team that has possession of the football last and has a Field Goal Kicker with a decent leg may very well win this game for his team.

LSU - Bama game is always a cardiac ordeal for me.

More like 40+ points. But you can't expect your offense to be able to score on every single drive against top 10 teams, it's not sustainable nor realistic to expect that.

The concern is the Alabama offense playing keep away and stringing together 7+ minute drives that we are helpless to stop.

I can already see Milroe scrambling for 15+ yards on 3rd downs.

We have to score at least 45 in my opinion because they will score on every possession

I’m not sure how you can think they score on every possession. Their offense isn’t that good.
