Size?
Yes, the same size favorite.??
Perhaps I am misunderstanding your one word question.

I watched Utah State last Saturday against Colorado State. I expect a very similar game like Vandy. I hope we tackle better and no turnovers.

As someone who worked with Kenny White in Las Vegas for almost a decade I would love for you to teach me something.
I stand ready to be enlightened by your knowledge. Go.......

If you watched Vandy this weekend, a low Tier school held them to half the points and yardage our Defense did.
Utah State would absolutely beat Vandy in their yard, or a neutral site. Utah State's QB is solid and is currently rated higher than Burrow by NFL scouts.
Unless we got a new defense during the bye, LSU isn't winning by more than 3 TDs. Utah State is going to score points in bunches.

Oh come on. The only team to score “in bunches” on our defense is a top-10 UT in Austin.
Vandy scored 3 TDS and 1 FG. That should be about the ceiling for Utah St.
59-24

They couldn’t score in bunches against Colorado state. The only game that happened was their game with stony brook. Basically a JV team. People are getting ridiculous with this talk.

I’m thinking it’ll be something like 59-21

USU fan here. I'm going with 48-31 LSU, with the biggest personal disappointment coming from not having enough time to enjoy tailgating.
Your receivers will tear apart our secondary. FWIW, our offense had an off night last week in the rain and should perform better. Hoping to keep it competitive to keep the entertainment level there. I think you guys will really enjoy watching Jordan Love sling the ball. Either way, i'm just pumped to have some good food and awesome weather in Baton Rouge this weekend.

Utah State's offense simply has not been good so far this year. They scored 62 against Stony Brook, but otherwise have been held to 35 points or lower by Wake Forest, San Diego State and Colorado State. Colorado State has the 123rd ranked defense in the FBS.
Utah State's reputation comes from the fact that they (1) had a great offense and QB play last year. However, they had serious losses last year -- only 2 starters returned (one tackle and the QB). Jordan Love has not looked nearly as impressive surrounded by an inexperienced line and receiving group.
The offense is currently ranked 75th in SP+ despite an easy schedule. The defense has actually been pretty good (33rd in SP+) and has kept them in games, but the defense will be completely overmatched by LSU's offense.

This shoud be a blowout but coming off a bye week makes me nervous.... Can Utah state score 24 and can LSU score 50..... I don't want a sloppy NSU type 1st half.......

Utah State would slaughter Northwestern AND Vandy. This QB that they have is good. He was in the top 5 college qbs conversation in several places preseason.

Burrow is now rated ahead of Love.

Last week Utah State was #31 according to the Sagarin Ratings; this Week #33. LSU #7

USU's low scoring average this year vs last year is for a few obvious reasons:
1. We lost a lot of good receivers from last year.
2. Last year, besides Michigan State, we were front loaded with cup-cake teams who couldn't stop Jordan Love if they tried.
3. This year's upfront schedule included San Diego State in SD, a place where we've never won before and SD has one of the better defenses in the Country. They did a good job of keeping us out of the EZ even after we'd rack up yards.
4. The Colorado State game. First, CSU always plays us tough, our wins are always within a 10 point margin. Second, the weather sucked bad. Heavy rain all game made things difficult for Jordan.
Hopefully we'll give you guys a good game! We should have beat Wake, we had several opportunities to do it, but with less than two minutes left close to their EZ, Jordan threw a bone-headed INT and that was it. OH WELL.
Best of luck the rest of the way!
