Good for LF. I like when athletes have opinions on social matters. The Tiger Woods/Michael Jordan approach of never being controversial is lame as frick.
And it's not like he's supporting ISIS. He's supporting a man who was brutally murdered by two policemen

Yessuh mastuh, sir.
He obviously has a stage where he can speak his mind and beliefs. He's a 20- something year old college student.
Who gave a frick what you did in college?

He has a right to do whatever he wants and to support any view he feels like supporting.

That's your opinion.
You could also say he was supporting a convicted felon and sex offender. Not really the type of person you want your family around now is it?

Trevon Martin wow you think Zimmerman did the right thing confronting a guy for walking on the sidewalk what happened to his rights as a citizen ?

Good for you Buga...if you'd like to raise awareness to issues plaguing society or mourning someone who was slain; go for it

Misguided and ignorant towards the facts. I wish people would let the process play out and gather all the facts before showing support for a cause merely due to race.

quote:While sterling isn't ISIS bad, he has an impressive rap sheet himself. One of his 16 instances with the law include screwing a 14 year old girl. That is very ISIS like
And it's not like he's supporting ISIS. He's supporting a man who was brutally murdered by two policemen
But that has no place in this thread

He is not a soldier, don't downgrade what the real soldiers do for this country. Sports figures are not soldiers. Leonard is a fine young man I haven't even read the story on this individual yet, but it won't change my mind about Leonard because I have not walked in his shoes.

This is fricking pathetic... Can't say I'm surprised though.

Please take race out of the equation...the citizen shown in that video, once taken to the ground posed no threat to the officers involved thanks to the knee of the non shooting officer planted in the apprehended citizen's chest...but somehow, drawing a weapon and discharging it less than a foot from an apprehended citizen is "rushing to judgement"...

Just read the story. Not good these Cops are wired to damn tight man. I know they have a tough job but damn with everything going around the country you'd think they would show more restraint.
Posted on 7/7/16 at 6:29 pm to TigerFanNKaty
No shite, they should have at least taken a couple bullets before firing at the suspect. The nerve.

I mean you are either blind or extremely biased if that's what you saw in the video. Either way, please move this to the OT thread if you want to discuss the shooting

I am responding to anyone who wants to use race as a crutch...I am saying even if you take race out of the equation, the police actions based on the video are dead wrong...and the notion that they were their lives were in danger is a bold face lie..I have two officers in my immediate family and they are sick watching this shite...and yes, any further comments should go to the OT...my apologies..just ranting
