Completely agree. I love LSU but a lot of our fans are really stupid. Just look at this thread.

What LF is doing is excercising bigotry. He's prejudiced against cops, so he is assuming THEY are wrong and WE are right. Same thing goes for the bourgeois white guy who automatically assumes the cops are right.
The proper attitude is to wait for the facts, then act decisively upon them, without prejudice!
But as I said in the previous post, he's young, and we should expect stupid.

You act like being from the inner city and african american is the same as living in woodgate/woodstone and being white. You have no idea the shoes these people walk in and the hardships law enforcement cause them.
You literally just did what you are telling me not to do
Also, what have I said that is so mean towards LF? I said he is a great person that I have met personally. I simply disagree with him doing this. It is not a big deal to disagree with someone. I have done it with every friend and family member I have at some point. Some of y'all are acting somewhat ridiculous for simply disagreeing with someone's single action

Dude i don't know you from Adam. I know when you speak that you know nothing about the african american community and their issues on a day to day level.
Its easy to be a 28 year old insulated human being and pass judgment on a player (who if he were not LSUs running back) would be living the same plight as Alton Sterling.
Leonard is not prejudicing police officers. He is taking a stand against unnecessary brutality committed by people in uniform that although not rare, has come to light in the age of camera phones and social media.
He is using his platform to take a stand, same as Muhammad Ali, who fought against racial equality, Same as Jackie Robinson. And for that he is a better role model.

quote:Now that is racist bigoted bullshite right there. LF is a great young man raised by wonderful people . To say he would be a criminal in and out of prison like Alton Sterling if he didn't play football is bullshite

Your misinterpretation of what i said is quite frankly frighteningly scary and speaks a lot about your perspective.
Again, you have no idea...

It's funny your stance on this considering you live in River Ridge a hop skip and a jump from Haraklan.

There is no misinterpretation
You said if LF didn't play football, he would face the same plight as Alton Sterling
Altons Sterlig plight was that of a man with multiple arrests, multiple felonies, who had the cops approach him due to a phone call and not simply being black. He was then shot while having an altercation with police while having an illegal firearm on his person. The shooting may have been excessive, which we will find out after more info comes out
So explain to me, how LF would have faced the same plight as Alton Sterling if he didn't play football?
Your post was veiled in racism and bigotry, and you want to point the finger at me. Ludicrous

Have you ever walked through the north side of baton rouge or the 7th ward of new orleans as a black man.
Have you ever been viewed with suspicion based on your mere presence, pulled over for not signalling soon enough, had your car searched because the officer claims the smell of marijuana?
Have you ever been frisked for just walking down the street, stopped because you look out of place, put in jail for 2 weeks and released just because?
These are things that are foreign in suburbia, but are commonplace in impoverished areas.
If you have then maybe you do have the perspective of a minority coming from the inner city. If not, then keep your ivory tower opinions to yourself, because you have no idea...

Man. You start this shite in this thread, then move to a largely racially divided thread in the OT and drop this same picture in there, try to get them baws all riled up, now back over here talking more shite.
Can you kindly take your race baiting arse away and shut the frick up about this?
TIA

He's a black kid from the inner city though, what stance did you think he would take on this issue?
The lesson here for him is that someone probably gave him the t-shirt and conveniently got him to post a pic of it. the people who gave it to him don't give a rats arse what happens to him or his image - they are just using him for a free billboard, consequences be damned.

I have been called racist, and been referenced with the klan now for simply saying I wish LF didn't do this, all while saying I personally met him and think he is a great person. Truly amazing.
