Also, what have I said that is so mean towards LF? I said he is a great person that I have met personally. I simply disagree with him doing this. It is not a big deal to disagree with someone. Its easy to be a 28 year old insulated human being and pass judgment on a player (who if he were not LSUs running back) would be living the same plight as Alton Sterling.

Leonard is not prejudicing police officers. He is taking a stand against unnecessary brutality committed by people in uniform that although not rare, has come to light in the age of camera phones and social media.

He is using his platform to take a stand, same as Muhammad Ali, who fought against racial equality, Same as Jackie Robinson. And for that he is a better role model.

Have you ever been frisked for just walking down the street, stopped because you look out of place, put in jail for 2 weeks and released just because?

These are things that are foreign in suburbia, but are commonplace in impoverished areas.

If you have then maybe you do have the perspective of a minority coming from the inner city. If not, then keep your ivory tower opinions to yourself, because you have no idea...
