Fournette has proven his resolve. He's not about publicity or fame. He's real and a solider for the people, and he's the truth.

I didn't say that you said he should be arrested.

He needs to stay away from that circus and focus on raising his child the correct way.

I doubt seriously he'd want her to become a female version of Alton Sterling or date someone like him.

For those who don't agree with his message, that's fine as long as you don't hate him for it. He's a black kid from the inner city though, what stance did you think he would take on this issue?
I aleady said I dont hate him for it, but he could take the Kobe Bryant stance

quote:

“I won’t react to something just because I’m supposed to, because I’m an African-American,” Bryant said. “That argument doesn’t make any sense to me. So we want to advance as a society and a culture, but, say, if something happens to an African-American we immediately come to his defense? Yet you want to talk about how far we’ve progressed as a society? Well, we’ve progressed as a society, then don’t jump to somebody’s defense just because they’re African-American. You sit and you listen to the facts just like you would in any other situation, right? So I won’t assert myself.”

The difference is that he's very simply wearing a shirt with a photo of the deceased on it. It's a sign of remembrance, no matter what your opinion on Sterling may be.

He didn't immediately hop on Twitter and start ranting about racism, how evil cops are, how the man is holding anyone down, BLM, or any of the other lightning rod topics that so many other athletes and celebs rush to let everyone know their stance on anything and everything.

Even in this extremely divisive issue, LF keeps it classy.

I'm ok with it. Just don't go on social media and act like an arse and he can wear that shirt all he wants

Kobe wasn't from the inner city. It makes a difference.

So why the hell did you ask if I have heard of the First Amendment? Nothing I have said even remotely relates to it.

I understand why LF did what he did. Should I lie and say it isnt disappointing to me that he did it?

That's a lot of words to say I don't want to make anyone mad so I can keep selling merch.

Why is it disappointing to you though? He didn't loot and protest in the street. He didn't say anything negative about anyone. He just showed support for a fallen man, who died in questionable circumstances. It's a statement for sure, but I'm not sure why it would be one that upsets anyone?

He set off an absolute nuke when he said that. He had tons of hate from other athletes and celebrities for being an "uncle tom." Kobe took the hard road, not the easy one in regards to Trayvon.

Let's bring Alton a National Championship as he looks down on the Tigers from up above.

Maybe he knew the guy or his family and is giving emotional support.
There will be an investigation. Hopefully we can all accept it.

If he wanted to do this and truly not pick a side, he should have also posted something in support of the cops as well. By posting this, he shows "backing for Sterling." You can dance around that if you would like.

Once again, it isnt a huge issue.

This issue seems to be pretty split down the racial divide unfortunately.
