How does beating #1 jump you 8 spots but beating #2 jumps you 2 spots but basically moves you a net of 0.

It’s definitely flawed but there are other teams and someone else may have moved up or teams LSU played lost which makes our rankings drop

beating florida was a bigger jump because we never played them this year. the arky win does not affect it much since we already played them.

Purdue has jumped 12 spots by beating 39, 59 & 47. LSU has beaten 27, 41, 1 & 3 while losing a 1 run game to #1. Just doesn’t make sense

That shite's not true. LSU jumped more after beating 25 RPI Mississippi State on Tuesday and they took 2/3 from them as well.

Because your winning percentage only counts for 25% of the formula. Your opponents and their opponents RPI count for a much bigger chunk of it.
