my only request is that we pay him $1 more than Chavis gets from the faggies.
Show him he wasn't that highly thought of after all the last drive games he lost us!

Our defensive ends aren't big enough for 3-4. Maybe he'll start off with a 4-3 and recruit it up to a 3-4. I HOPE WE GET HIM.

6 to Midnight. Literally. This would be such a solid move. We wouldn't miss Chavis in any way IMO.

This would be an upgrade, he and Miles coached together on Dallas
I agree it's likely to be an upgrade but it's not an upgrade because Pendergast and Miles coached together in Dallas.

Well some don't want it to happen because that would mean LSU improves, which would mean Miles stays.
Do you think people want Miles gone regardless of results?
Many are sick of the shitty product, but if we become contenders again the hate Miles bandwagon would shrink to nothing.

We don't have a system to run a 3-4. Our LBs are undersized and so is most of our dlineman. I hope he can adjust his scheme because it's going to take awhile to convert.
My question is if this dude is so good how come he's not employed?

A few of out DTs would move to DE. Hunter is a pretty prototypical 3-4 OLB.

We have like 18 DT. Just spread them out on the 3-man front and move the DEs to OLB. Boom.

And while this was not a complaint of mine about Chavis ...
Pendergast coaches on the sidelines.

Pendergast also believes it's vital to get pressure on the opposing QB. "Whether it's a running quarterback or a passing quarterback, you always try to get them off their spot and give them different looks," he said. "You don't want to be vanilla."

We'd be fine. Put Beckwith and Garrett inside. We have several who could be hybrid OLB/DE/pass rushers. Stick Valentine at NT.

We'd need someone else at NT with Valentine. Fortunately, NTs are generally pretty easy to recruit.

Assuming we can even get Hunter to stay next year. Who's going to coach the LBs? Bradley Dale Peveto?

This guy has experience coaching positions. I don't see why he can't step right in to chavis' position and coach the lbs as well.

In the fox sports article he's pretty clear that he will change his scheme to fit the available players. So he'd probably run a good amount of 4-3 to start, then transition to more 3-4.
