ALeva needs to realize this is way bigger than his job- if he makes the wrong decision when CLM goes so will ALEVA
Now to the board- DO you really want the kind of mess Michigan has been going through?
If so just let Aleva handle everything.
Higher ups need to step in and give Aleva his marching orders or march him right out the front door!

That is true but if so it would truly be an upgrade to our current situation IMO. On top of CP as an x&o coach, Coach O can solidify us in recruiting not to mention maybe pull a few others who weren't interested in LSU and bring that intensity back to our D Line and Defense.

I'm on board with paying a Pendergast $1 more than TAMU paid Chavis just to make a point, as long as the clause-protections are there for LSU.
Bears mentioning, if things don't go well with Pendergast there's still Chizik out there. In fact, LSU should be talking to all candidates right now.

According to this tweet from Adam Schefter, Pendergast is not listed as someone Skins plan to interview. Could be that they already feel they know enough about him, but seems they are looking outside organization.

That's what I'm talking about! They're so quick to break the news of Les calling CP, but it's crickets when it comes to letting people know what CP had to say.

Hopefully it just means that serious contract talks are in progress. Alleva doesn't hit a home run here (not necessarily Pendergast) and he's got to go. I'm sure he wants to do his due diligence
