Ole Miss will drop fast, I see a upest early for them, there not used to being that high.

and to the people thinking 8 is to high for LSU, it's not, teams that are anually loaded with talent like LSU should always be ranked in the top 10. USC, Ohio State, Texas, and Oklahoma always are.

Just curious, what relevance does this site have? Do people really anticipate this poll? Or is this just to give us something to talk about? Like I said, just curious, because I've never heard of this site.

That being said...Ole Miss is WAY too high. And I had us being around 10 or 11. This should be a damn good year for us, and I love that a lot of people have us third in our division.

Is it against the rules to not put them in the pre-season top 25?

Did I miss something? I don't think OM has had a top 15 recuiting class in 20 years.

I'm pretty sure you lose your voting ability if you don't.

I am LOL'ing at most of you for thinking Ole Miss is overrated at #5 because they lost 4 games last year. But somehow LSU is underrated after losing 5.

but even so Ole Miss #5

Ole Miss #5? The 2nd best team in the SEC? You've got to be kidding me.

I don't understand the Notre Dame ranking. The top 3 are probably the consensus and I'd have Va Tech at 4 and USC at 5. Ole Miss should probably be in the top 15 but not the top 5.

We are thin at OL and the defensive back seven. But have as good a two-deep DL as there is in the conference, and better than average running backs. I think the main reason for the high expectations is that we have a 1st-round quality QB, in a year when almost every other SEC team at QB is either untested, or just plain bad. We'll see.

IMO that is spot on.

They have some talent coming back and their schedule is pretty easy this year.

And s0 begins another year of CFB rankings...LSU will have to play and beat at least two other top ten ranked teams while USC will play at least...none. 10-2 is beginning to look good, homes...
