Via Worsham:
LSU's QBs (based on @PFF_College grading):

- Top graded freshman QB in Power 5 (Max Johnson)
- No. 3 graded freshman QB in P5 (TJ Finley)
- No. 3 graded junior QB in P5 (Myles Brennan, only behind Justin Fields and Trevor Lawrence)

Now add in Garrett Nussmeier.

Outside of the Scar game, Finley has struggled.

Thank you Coach Orgeron. He makes it look so easy but we know its relentless work.
Screw you Faux Coach Miles.

Not true, he played well vs. Arkansas as well as SCAR. He struggled against Auburn and Texas A&M. The Alabama game I am not going to overly critique as the entire team, while playing with effort, struggled against them.

I heard Nussmeier on the pregame show today. The dude speaks like a veteran NFL coach. To say he is impressive is the understatement of the year. Idk how good he will be, but I sure as hell am rooting for him.

if miles accepted that passing offense wasn't bad or scary, we'd have more titles and wins and he'd still be our coach

his issues with passing go back to when Jimbo was our OC

I would doubt that all four of these quarterbacks will be here all next year. Brennan may not come back from injury. Max or TJ will probably enter the transfer portal depending on who wins the highest place on the roster. Freshmen?

Les clearly had success here, but drastically underachieved too, with all the elite talent he had on his rosters.

Finley looked as good vs Arkansas. He needs the running game and O line playing well, at least with his limitations being a true freshman who really isn’t ready to start in the SEC. The O Line and run game were not good in his other three starts.

There is no reason to shite on either Finley or Johnson. Neither is fully ready and they’ve both had good and bad moments. I do think Johnson is the better fit as a starter right now because his strengths help to balance some of our offense’s weaknesses, but I would like to see them work for a year and develop further before one is chosen as the better guy and the other potentially transfers out.

the QB situation was Burrow / Brennan last year.

You forgot Parrish, but he was easy to overlook.

Two playable QBs is not a good QB situation, no matter how good you are. That’s unacceptably poor depth in the P5. 3 should be bare minimum and only reached due to transfers. You should have 4 on the roster most years.

While all of this is true or at least the more wins and he’d still be our coach the titles is debatable but that doesn’t erase what he did do which overall was the best decade in school history. Of course he’d also have more wins and definitely more titles and still be our coach if Saban doesn’t come back to the SEC I think most of the we should have had more titles folks forget the little detail that he did have to go head to head with Saban and Meyer
