You’re not wrong but...
Nus refused to play to keep his redshirt, and Myles B. also entered the transfer portal DURING the season.
Chest is not in abundance with these three.
My take:
Nus is overrated and will eventually transfer.
Max, while tough, is NOT a pocket passer (at all)
Brennan, while mature, is made of glass.
That being said, of the three, Myles easily has the most upside (this season and overall).
Lets see how this plays out.

Lol max sucks and so does TJ.
Max has a noodle for an arm and managed to become less athletic this past year.
TJ has a big arm but is a slow motion soft player.

Max Johnson can eat a bag of dicks and enjoy that clipboard he will be holding

Johnson’s not winning that starting job. He may be the only starting college QB ever to transfer to become a backup.
Maybe Haynes King bud Max is going to beat him the Weigmann kid out imo.
Max isn't a bad QB but OP is wrong. We're not going to yearn for him.
Especially if Myles stays healthy. If Myles can put a full year together he's going to have the 2nd best season in lsu history.

Many who were unsatisfied with Max Johnson’s 2800 yds & 27 TD sophomore performance will feel guilty soon. With experience and the talent around him at A&M, Max could very well outplay our “veteran fisherman” at Kyle Field. While Auburn seems to be a shite show, TJ may also emerge and challenge us
Did you come up with this shitty take on your own?

So many QB experts/coaches on this board.

Remember the backwards pass against UCLA
That is one awful play I will never forget

Max won’t sniff the field next season

Max will never beat out Haynes King. A&M signed him just to get Jake!

I don’t think Max will be a starter unless injury strikes again. I hope he’s happy being an insurance policy.

quote:Yeah he's going to start, but his stats won't be what they were at LSU. People can say all they want, but LSU's extreme talented receivers bailed him out all the time. Making amazing catches on the regular. Plus I won't miss that noodle arm that underthrew most deep passes.
I’m not sure why everyone assumes Haynes King is some world beater. I was never impressed with him when we wanted him. Max is not elite by any means, but he very well could win that job.
Myles is going to light it up. There is already rumors that they are going to go more spread this year with less TE action (because that is what LSU I'd built for). Think about what Kelly was doing with Cincinnati. Big numbers yearly, 3700 yards 36 TDs, 3500 yards 26 TDs (QB transition year), 4000 yards 39 TDs (his last year there).
Brennan has a better arm, will be behind a better OL, and has possibly the best receiving corps in the country.

You’re clearly not an LSU fan when you post shite like this. Why are the admins letting shite like this fly?

Had Finley started last year no doubt LSU rolls Auburn in Baton Rouge. It was about to get out of hand before Nix became Superman.

TJ doesn’t have the IT factor … not consistent

Do better than this. Lafayette gets enough crap without you making it worse with this kind of post.

I don't think there was ever a good relationship between Coach O and Brennan. Les recruited Brennan, the shrimp boat captain inherited him. I'm pretty sure he hit the portal because he didn't think O would even consider him for QB1. With O gone and CBK onboard, Brennan came back.
