This thread keeps coming up, but is an issue. The alumni put up a huge amount of money for that habitat. They aren't on campus everyday. Game days are when they either expect to see him in the habitat or at the game. But neither is happening.

The university doesn't pay for all that upkeep so that the vet school can have an exotic pet. They have a tiger for a reason. Its time somebody makes some tough decisions.

Ya know, it would be nice to continue to have the only live tiger mascot on a college campus. Using this method is just asking PETA to step in and take him away.

I am so sick of this topic. You can't force him to go and expect to still have him on campus. Period.

Enjoy him in his habitat and be thankful that we have him. Of he loads great if he doesn't, no big deal.

this seems pretty simple. Redesign his habitat so that you can park his cage at the entry/exit, leave it there as a permanent fixture and start feeding him in the cage. once he's used to going in and out, just toss his arse a ham sandwich into the cage a couple hours before game time.
