Arkansas had 530 yards on Ole Miss.

This is Lane’s worst team since his 1st year. No Walter Nolan’s or Tre Harris or Judkins on this squad

To make the playoffs, LSU needs to hold serve at home and go at least 2-2 against Ole Miss, Bama, Vandy, and OU on the road. Every road SEC game is enormous and a threat until they get two wins. Then it’s gravy.

That Ole Miss D isn't holding LSU under 30

I mean, I hope you are right but.....show me. I'm still a bit concerned until we show some semblance of just running the ball at an average clip. 130 yards against Southeastern with Nuss getting like 30 of that on an off script run ain't enough for me.

I think we can but we gotta start Saturday.

I think we’re giving up 10 points a game

Scoring 27 on our defense seems aggressively optimistic

I hear ya, but consider the competition. La tech, Southeastern and two 1-3 schools. Not exactly impressive.

Ole Miss QB can be rushed into throwing pics fairly easily.

No doubt. Early money coming in on the Rebels.

Ole Miss has given up a combined 5.5 YPC in their 2 SEC games against 2 of the worst SEC teams. If we can’t even average 4 YPC against them the running game may very well be a lost cause.

Clemson held you to 17 and Syracuse scored 34 on them in 2 1/2 quarters

Could it be that the confidence of Sage Ryan influenced this sharp money?
Nah, not likely.

Well, we averaged 3.9 yards per carry against Southeastern so.....

I expect us to improve as the year goes but I don't expect it to be an on off light switch but more like a dial that gradually increases the light, I think it's going to take time.

Hey, we beat Ole Piss last year with 89 rushing yards and pure talent wise that Ole Miss team may have had the best defense in the conference. They are not this year, so hopefully we make enough improvement this week to hit about 30 which may be what we will need.

Arkansas' defense is abysmal but their offense is one of the tops in the conference and ranked pretty high nationally. Im not sure i would say they faced two of the worst SEC teams as a whole. Defensively..yes.
