We are still getting more value for 800k than we are for 2.5 million

Ensminger faced a team with a great defense

Aranda faced one with a terrible offense

But lets forget that we allowed florida 391yds of offense and gave up the lead in the 4th

I thought the playcalling in 2nd half was fine, it was pretty chickenshit at the end of the 1st half though.

In the end in the 2nd half we just didn't make the plays outside of the OL/Brossette going ham on 1 drive. Burrow was missing some guys, threw a bad pick, the receivers dropped a couple key 1st downs on last drive, and the OL overall still was having issue pass blocking - even just a 3 man rush.

The pass rush was pretty much running free the entire 2nd half. How the frick we didn’t hit them with draws and screens is beyond me. High school OC’s are making those calls every Friday night yet a screen pass is a foreign concept to a major college football program? It’s mind blowing.

Totally. Anytime your LT ends up facing your QB or RB as many times as we saw the front #77, you know things are going poorly.

We attempted 5 different screen plays in the 2nd half. Don’t let your narrative get confused with the facts.

But Ensminger’s second half performance was unacceptable. Period point blank.

I do agree with this for the most part, but our receivers have got to hang on to the ball. I think this game exposed us to the fact that we are not good enough to overcome this many turnovers. We won our first 5 games by forcing 10 TOs and only committing 3. 3 TOs to Florida in the Swamp is not going to get it.

Outside of the final drive of the game when did we drop passes?

Jefferson alone dropped three passes beyond twenty yards that hit him in the hands. By far his worst game as a Tiger.

Foster M makes 26 yard catch and run
Holding .. bring it back

RJefferson and Sullivan make two big drops for sizeable yards.

That’s just 3 plays off top my head.

SE has no control over that.

Lack of execution.

I must have missed Ensminger dropping those balls or missing those blocks

i must have missed all the tackles and plays that Lou Tepper didn't make, he should have never been fired.

Coaches absolutely have control over getting their players ready to actually play and executing.

The bottom line is that the offense has disappeared for multiples quarters in 5 of 6 games. That is 100% on the coaching staff. It happens too often to be an anomaly. Something the staff id doing/not doing is allowing this lull to happen most of the time. And you can't blame it on competition, because it's happened against the two cupcakes too.

replace 'SE' with many offensive coordinators of the past.

the lack of execution by the offense ultimately lands on either Orgeron or Ensminger, take your pick. or heck, blame the great position coaches, that would be a nice change up.

I thought it was 6 actually. But anyway, my points would be...

A) seems like most of them would be pre-snap blitz read reactions. They seemed pre-planned. I saw twice (I know once) where we ran a screen to the opposite side of an undisguised blitz. That's an indicator of that. Sometimes they seemed forced; which, in my mind, is also an indicator of them not being on the field reads.

B) We still suck at executing them. OL doesn't sell them and their release timing is horrible. We don't have a receiver plan B (throw back to sideline preferably). RB doesn't sell them. For all the people that buy into the "save the good plays" this is what happens. This is why you run that shite against SLU and LTU, so when it matters you can fricking execute it.

C) This is nit-picking I admit. They need to be sprinkled out more. What UF was doing in the first half was reason enough to back them off. The "all or nothing", either we are going to runs screens or not, or HUNH or not, motion FL or not, is a pet peeve of mine.

D) I do want to see screens with a deep wheel by RB in the next series. HOWEVER, that'd likely be a sack right now.

Might have been 6. There was a swing pass in there I didn’t count. But to say they didn’t try and counter the upfield rush is not accurate. Our fans are weird.

Prior to this game, had we run 5 screen plays in a single game? If not, the Swamp isn't a good place to try them out. We should've been working on those against SELA, Tech, and Ole Miss.

The bottom line is that Ensminger didn't really make any changes to counter the adjustments that Grantham made. When we got the ball back down by 1 with a little over 3 minutes to play, we run up the middle twice and then have to pass on 3rd and 9. That's inexcusable. Also, after Brossett picks up huge gains, he disappears in favor of CEH. WTF?

Value? What is a bottom ranked offense going for nowadays? More than 800k?

No it doesn’t!

frick.

Dude drops the fricking football he dropped it.... not a coach.
Players/leaders take responsibility for their actions on the field.

Aranda was outcoached

This Aranda being outcoached these is the biggest line of bs coming out of this weekend. Aranda got the better of Mullen some, and vice versa. Neither really outcoached the other.

Floridas players however, whipped our players butts.
