Fact 1 - O-haters gush daily over Jimbo Frickin Fisher.

As usual the insecure on Os payroll have it bass ackward. You are the ones that bring up Fisher on a daily basis (this is 2 days in a row for you) find me a thread in the last week started by someone lamenting the fact we didn’t get Jimbo. It only comes up when you bring it up.

Fact 2 - Fisher wasn't "all that and a bag of chips" as OC at LSU

Well he did win 2 SEC Ttiles and a NC. He did have successfully seasons with Booty, Davey Mauck and Russell and coached Flynn for 4 years. He was OC last time we signed a HS QB that we developed and was drafted so define “all that and a bag of chips”.

It's really time for you to get banned. You started a thread about Jimbo two days ago, that got anchored.

Right. You'd LOVE to ban anyone who supports Coach E and Coach O. And different thread & different topic.

'nuff said.

Fireable offense if you ask me.

Amazing that these people think that he's going to magically turn it around and not only score a point against Alabama but actually score enough to beat them.

Hint: it's going to take at least 30 of those single points that he's failed to score in two entire games of football

So basically he has to do 30x in one game what he's done in two. But even the math on that doesn't work because 30 x 0 is still 0. Like his boss. Ed, 0.

I'm just glad we have a really great baseball coach and a fricking phenomenal basketball coach.

First you using total yards and not ypg. Now look at where those offensive years rank relative to the rest of CFB.

But again the basketball team in in the top 15 the baseball team is #1 save your insecurities for the summer Dereck
The LSU football team's final AP ranking is #6. (figures that you'd leave that out)

And I'd rather watch paint dry, than baseball.

I'll give you a hint. All of Jimbo's offenses were ranked in the 30s. All of Ensmingers offenses were ranked in the 60s and 70s.

BLyonsTiger posted these stats for LSU's total offense rankings:

2000 - 53
2001 - 11
2002 - 86
2003 - 31
2004 - 42
2005 - 43
2006 - 9

You have alink to support your claim tha ALL of Jimbos' Offenses were in the 30'S? No? Didn't think so.

You didn't use that in your comparison in the OP. What does that have to do with anything? Do you really want to bring in the final AP rankings when Jimbo was here? You sure do seem to have a hard on for him. Do you have a picture of him on your nightstand? What makes you think of these things?

Yeah I know, I realized my mistake right after. I know better too. I got his first year mixed up with his National Championship year.

Fixed.

ETA: My point still stands that early Les Miles was definitely different than middle - later Les Miles. Early Les Miles didn't seem to be as big a control freak. Later Les Miles hired his best man in his wedding to "coordinate" his offense.

Yeah, funny how you tried to get me banned right after you posted that ridiculous claim that ALL Jimbo's offenses were in the top 30's.

Grow a set!

1. I said it only goes back to 2004. I couldn't find statistics prior to that.

2. Different data banks use different criteria. Some may use postseason, some may not.

3. Go look at the numbers on the link that I sent you. It's accurate.

More importantly why don't you just address the point that no matter which databank you use, Ensminger offenses were terrible compared to Jimbo's.

The guy brought up LSU's baseball and basketball rankings. Why would any LSU football fan object to seeing LSU's #6 final AP ranking? O has the program moving in the right direction.
