Do all the ocs between them. See how they stack up to crowton, stud and Cameron.

Oh and E wasn't the OC in 2017.

CSE was not the offensive coordinator in 2017. Well... maybe for the last two games...

Good point. The game and the way offenses scheme has not changed at all since the early 00s.

So you're comparing offenses from 15-20 years ago to now.

Success isn't measured against what was done in previous eras. Success is measured by comparing yourself to your contemporaries. Are you more impressed with my Kia Sorento compared to my 66 Mustang because my Sorento has fuel injection, power windows, power steering, disc brakes an air condition?

Look where Jimbo Fisher's offenses ranked compared to other offenses of the day. Now look at where at Steve Ensminger offenses rank compared to offences of today. And take out that extra game they played against A&M that literally no other football team in history played.

I'll give you a hint. All of Jimbo's offenses were ranked in the 30s. All of Ensmingers offenses were ranked in the 60s and 70s.

No. I'm comparing the "Holy Grail" of ball coaches, Jimbo Fisher, to the reality of what he actually did as OC at LSU.

It's really time for you to get banned. You started a thread about Jimbo two days ago, that got anchored.

You really have issues. By page 10 you'll be saying people who hate O and E can't stop thinking about Jimbo, yet this is the second thread YOU start about him this week.

Fact 1 - O-haters gush daily over Jimbo Frickin Fisher.
Fact 2 - Fisher wasn't "all that and a bag of chips" as OC at LSU

Didn't even take you till page 10.

You started the fricking thread about Jimbo, for the second time this week. And you have the nerve to sit here and say "O Haters" always bring him up?

First you using total yards and not ypg. Now look at where those offensive years rank relative to the rest of CFB.

But again the basketball team in in the top 15 the baseball team is #1 save your insecurities for the summer Dereck

Certainly.

2004 college football - total offense

I couldn't find a databank that goes all the way back to 2000 but you can see 2004, 2005 and 2006.

Most interesting is that the best statistical offense LSU has had since 2000 was the innovative and dynamic approach of Gary Crowton in 2007 using the great players recruited by Nick Saban and the fundamentals and skill sets taught by Jimbo Fisher. He actually had LSU's offense in the top 15 in a bunch of categories for the first time ever. Of course, after that the Les Miles Factor took over. 2007 was early Les Miles so I assume he left Gary Crowton alone to run his offense. Every offense after that had his fingerprints all over it and was pretty abysmal(save 2013) on par with Ed orgeron and Steve Ensminger.
