So let me get this straight..... Matt canada was the devil, but his season that got him fired had more yards than E's first season?

I was told that was the weakest sec schedule we have ever faced...i guess it only matters when dissing O

Did you catch this? Joe Brady bringing in a bro. Very good news, IMO.

It definitely can't hurt. Has stats last season weren't very impressive, but I'm not sure how you accurately quantify how those results will translate to his job at LSU. If nothing else it gets some younger juice in the program.

then was promoted to offensive coordinator in 2017. At the time, he was the second-youngest offensive coordinator across Division I.
In 2018, William & Mary ranked 121st out of 124 teams at the FCS level with 13.6 points per game, and the Tribe ranked 122nd with 241.5 total yards per game.

That's very good news in your opinion?

Again, how do you explain the 5-6 dumpster fire Jimbo had in 2017?

Was that season the norm or outlier on his career?

You're either ignorant to the inexperience on that team and a team decimated by injuries on both sides, that by the 5-6 game the defense looked like LSU's D in the bowl game or you're being intellectually dishonest...which is it?

Oh and you still haven't answered my questions in my OP.

Yes. It tells me that Joe Brady has some clout on the staff. Also, it tells me that Brady can delegate research to someone he believes to be highly competent.

Brady isn't here to party. He's here to make his mark in coaching. Brady is stone-cold-all-business, from everything I've read.

Finally, a competent coach on the offensive side of the ball to take our passing game to new heights, am I right?

Nice side step of the question and ignore your inquiry into the 17 season.

Here's a hint, don't look at O's record as a head coach at Ole Miss.

Faulty and misleading. In all those seasons cept for 2003, the Tigers played one fewer game than the last two seasons.

I wish we had Jimbo rather than O & E. Don't get me wrong, I hope the latter two do succeed at LSU, but it would have been more comforting, and reassuring if Jimbo had come to LSU rather than an SEC rival.

The Negs pivot 50 times on every pro-O&E thread. But you know that. Just keeping up with a few of the Neg's tangents.

Nah. They just keep postin them same facts that be supported be evidence. It’s irrelevant whether or not YOU believe the facts or not. That’s the beauty of facts, dog.

That's great and all, but if E is "crushin' it" then why are we delegating so much responsibility to an unknown in Joe Brady? He may turn out to be great. Who knows? Just seems to me like if you are crushing it, it would be silly to give a bunch of responsibility to someone who is a pretty big question mark. Big risk for a little reward, at least in your opinion.

Hmm, nice response and projection

Guess you don't like to talk about the questions you asked or give further context.

I'm not surprised you ran from questions that blew your narrative up.

Either ignorant and can't articulate a point or you're just being intellectually dishonest.

Either way, bad look for you. Carry on

The biggest opportunity for the O is the passing game. Replacing Sullivan with Brady was a tough but solid decision for O & E. And having the #6 team in the nation in O's 2nd season and E's 1st full season as OC? While being tasked with changing LSU's offense to develop a substantial passing game from a historically primarily running team?

Yeah, I'd say they're crushing it.

First sign of a bad analysis: Broad statistical data, absent parametric/multivariate/contextual assessment.

bowl stats didn't count in totals until the '02 season, so you shorted Jimbo in these years:

00 - 4514 (374 in Peach Bowl)
01 - 6013 (595 yds in Sugar Bowl)

so LSU's season average under Jimbo was actually 5138 if my math is right.

also, as has been mentioned, we only played 11 game regular season schedules in 00, 01, 03, 04 and 05. 02 we actually played 12, and in 06, 12-game schedules became the norm.

so yards/ game, or yards/ play might be better metrics.

we comin' though, baws

Didn't "run" from your question. I walked away from your presumptuous arrogance. Bet that happens to you a lot.
