If the next contract stipulates it yes it will change. If it’s a renewal of the same contract nope it won’t.

It's called a "uniform" for a reason. You play for LSU, you wear the uniform, including shoes.

Apparel providers like Puma already know that the university deals are above anything the players have on. Otherwise, she would be wearing Puma on the court. I believe it's also a conference rule that you need to wear the specific brand the university is signed to whilst in competition.

Just like puma inking with a Nike team, Nike would be able to go after Adidas athletes.

Nike just needs to step to the plate and buyout her Puma contract and then sign her to an endorsement deal for Nike. Shes a budding star on and off the court.

Independent shoes deals makes the most sense for basketball. Nike isn't paying the athletes, and honestly $1 million to get every LSU athlete into Nike shoes is extremely cheap.

Does Puma even put out a really good basketball shoe? I really doubt this is about basketball for Puma. Most of her followers are from what she does off the court and that's what Puma is trying to capitalize on.

Did she sign a contract with Nike? How does wearing Nike shoes benefit any of the players. Seems LSU gets paid handsomely for that, but other than free gear the players don’t get much else

coaches make bank on this, or so I have heard
