You suck. Why start this and not update it one bit. Garbage post.

It’s great Jacoby is coming back because we were looking mighty young at the OLB position and he can easily step in and play that hybrid role wherever he is needed on the field.

Jacoby coming back is huuuuuuge! He’ll be the leader of our defense next year. I’m pumped.

I see you think that my comment about Cushenberry being one of the easiest to replace is ridiculous. Maybe you don’t know that the guy replacing him started against Georgia last year at guard and did his share to push them around in an arse whipping.
Hines is a guy I was very high on his senior year of high school. I predicted then he’d be one of our best recruits. He has elite footwork for a lineman, and he is strong and big. I think his upside is higher than Cushenberry, even though Cushenberry was a good one.
There are people who can never imagine that a backup can be as good as a former star player, but I can list one example after another of guys who did just that. Deion Jones is a guy who never started until his senior year at LSU, but 4 years earlier I saw him in a playoff game for Jesuit, and told my son that Jones would be in the NFL one day - just as Chasen Hines will be.

Agree 100% Stevens was an animal when he played a few games at olb last year. He def needs to be moved from safety to that spot this year to provide that pass rush. I thought we shoulda blitzed him more from the opposite side of Chiasson this year to create more pressure.
