Do you think we’re gonna have a QB that uses our talent to it’s full potential like Burrow has?

Do I think we will have a Heisman caliber QB every single year? Hell no. Do I think Brennan can provide enough offense, combined with a good defense, to continue having LSU in playoff contention? Hell yeah.

If you expect anything more, you are frickin delusional.

Brennan has a chance to really shine in this system with the weapons returning next year. Hopefully the offensive tackles and Clyde return as well.

Last year, Joe Burrow wasn’t the QB he is today. You never know what Brennan we may see next season. The kid has a serious hose for an arm. Another year to get acquainted with Brady’s system and I think he will be fine. Until then, enjoy what we’re experiencing in 2019.

Burrow was Burrow last year he was just in a system that he wasn't used to and it held him back early.
He took off in the 2nd part of the season and it has continued into this year.

Your biggest worry for next year doesn't include the QB position.
I would be much more concerned on who stays.
You are losing some high draft pick Seniors and I think several of your underclassmen will strongly consider leaving.
Here's a list of kids I think will give it a hard look:
Delpit is gone
Jefferson--should go
CEH--should go
Charles
Deculus
Cushenberry
Stevens and Phillips should stay but......

Why do people downvote this? Yeah, he has come in at garbage times where the play-calling is weak at best and the second string players are all over, but he really hasn't looked too good. What are we missing and why do y'all feel so strongly about this? I hope he is the man!

LSU had good and great teams with lesser QBs than Brennan.

Wouldn't count on that too much. With the NCAA throwing a wrench into collegiate football with this ridiculous ruling on compensation, who knows what college football recruiting will look like beginning next season. Big name football programs partnering with corporations to offer lucrative endorsement contracts to five-star talent?

first of all the rule doesn't go in to affect until 2023.
2nd of all why shouldn't someone like Joe Burrow be able to make money off his talent? LSU probably sold 6-7 figures worth of #9 jerseys this year

You don't think LSU which is a top ten revenue school is going to take advantage of the rule also?
you don't think players are getting paid under the table already?

Brennan is the man. He has a rocket arm, mobility, He's studied with Brady and Burrow and knows the playbook. He's light years ahead of any transfer that comes in. I hope I don't have to eat crow.

I think it’s something that no one really knows. We will have talent all over the field but that doesn’t change anything since LSU has always had freaks every where. Our challenge has always been a terrible offensive scheme and no qb. We changed both this year. Coming into next year, we know we will have the offensive scheme, let’s see what Brennan can do in it. If he can’t succeed after having two years of learning behind Burrow and a year under Brady, then he just doesn’t have it. I’m optimistic that Brady will find things that he is good at and he was also have weapons everywhere to help him out. Obviously, we all expect some sort of drop off on offense next year but Brennan may fit in just fine. He has the arm to make all of the throws, it comes down to leadership, decision making, and being poised in the pocket. I’m rooting hard for the kid after sticking it out and waiting his turn.

Enjoy this fricking season. I don’t get tiger fans that say I love this team but.......what about next year, bama, Brady leaving, etc. just shut the frick up and enjoy what is happening now.

I’d love to know which LSU fan that is not enjoying this season. How dare someone come to an LSU board and discuss LSU during a bye week. Calm down, bud. There is literally nothing wrong with talking about the future of our program. If the guy came in here bashing players and said he’s looking forward to next year then so be it, but that’s not the case. The guy is bringing up talking points. Go follow the Bama board if it bothers you so much..

This is the ONE fricking year when we shouldn't have "next year" threads outside of the recruiting board. Relax and enjoy our 2019 CFP Playoff ride.

People feel strong about it because you’re basing Brennan’s performance on garbage time snaps with a pound the ball mentality. No, he hasn’t looked great in the time that he’s had but there’s still no way to tell his potential without him running the full system with the first team.
