Pretty much. It's USC's meet to lose. They have a ton of women in finals that can bring in the additional points.

Texas A&M girls will probably have more sure fire points remaining. Tonea Marshall and the 4x100 are nice favorites to win it all. Maybe Ofili has a monster 200 showing? We’ll see but they’re probably top 4. I would be surprised if Oregon didn’t have a lot of entries left

Mathematically, anything could happen. But it doesn’t look like we have near enough finals qualifiers for a decent shot at the team championship.
When you’re a team built for sprints while ignoring distance and most field events—when you don’t totally kick arse in sprints, your chances of a team title go down the drain.

That makes sense.

LSU men competing this evening (all times Central):
High Jump - 6:30 pm - JuVaughn Harrison - ranked #1
4x100m - 7:02 pm - LSU - ranked #4
Triple Jump - 7:20pm - Sean Dixon-Bodie - ranked #13
110m Hurdle Final - 7:42pm - Damion Thomas - ranked #2
100m Final - 7:52pm - Terrance Laird - ranked #1
400m Final - 8:02pm - Noah Williams - ranked #1
400m Hurdle Final - Sean Burrell - ranked #4
200m Final - 8:37pm - Terrance Laird - ranked #1
Projected 58 points added if rankings hold, giving LSU men 82 which would be incredible. Oregon has the one in the 1500m, two Triple Jumpers, one in the 100m, one in the 800m, two in the 5000m (who are #1 & #2 in the country).
At this point, I would be more concerned with North Carolina A&T making insane runs with their sprint guys, but it seems like we're an L-S-shoe in *proceeds to slap knee*

LSU doesn't have anyone in this race but this is going to be AWESOME to watch. Highly recommend everyone tune in to see Teare and Hocker run

Yes yes yes yes. Weather conditions are incredible in Eugene right now. I'm hoping for fast times from everyone. Oregon going 1/2 doesn't hurt us much.

I love watching these events. Makes me want to buy a Nintendo and the Track and Field game where you rapidly dragged your knuckles over buttons A/B

Anyone who's watched all season, what height does Juvaughn usually come in at?
Posted on 6/11/21 at 6:39 pm to Ingeniero
Looks like he opened up at 2.17 at SEC’s so I’d imagine somewhere around there

This is an irrational concern. Oregon is the only threat.

We really need this men’s natty badly.
It was a long drought without nattys between 2009 baseball and 2015 golf.
It was frustrating when baseball couldn’t quite do it in 2017.
Football of course was a big one in 2019.
Men’s track in 2021 would keep us fairly steady in nattys.
Pat Henry used to put them up by the bushel basket.

A good day for Oregon could put up 60 points. NC ATT can't put up more than 40.

Just read up on NC A&T’s head coach. He’s young and awfully impressive. Would be a shame if LSU hired him when shaver retires
