I think maybe - and this is purely speculation on my part, that the reason Givens got more time than he probably earned by his play earlier in the year is that maybe the coaches were seeing the same thing - that Sears could score at times but was streaky, turned the ball over too much and was a average at best defender.....and they llked Givens upside.
I think last game was the best I've seen Givens look against real competition.
