This game and next vs Arkansas are your best shots to win in January. Sure hope we can avoid an 0-7 start…

The spread for this one is 9.5, but the advanced stats say it should be closer to 13-15 pts. This one could get ugly.

OM is a top 25 ranked team. It is tough to win on the road, period. I don't think this is where we get a win...but who knows.

The Rebs have had some very uneven performances this year, struggling vs. Southern and Grambling, and getting blown out by Memphis.
But they have won their first two SEC games against Georgia and Arkansas, and played to the buzzer vs. Purdue.
Our first two SEC games have been disappointing, Reed or no Reed. I do think we can give a better account of ourselves. I hope we do.

I'm not sure who would leave other than the SRs. V. Miller is the highest rated non-SR on the team, but I don't think he is leaving LSU, given he could have easily gone elsewhere.

Let's get this bread.... I guess

Ole Miss leads the SEC in turnover margin. One thing LSU is good at is turning the ball over. I'm surprised the normal spread isn't a little higher.

I just want to see if they compete instead of doing what McMahon’s teams have often done…turn the ball over numerous times in the first half and fall so far behind they have little chance of coming back in the 2nd half, despite playing a bit better. Particularly on the road where McMahon is 3-16 in the SEC

Winnable game, let’s go Tigers

So pitiful. Yet there are still some here saying that more time is needed and that we need to be patient while other SEC teams are racing past us in less time.
We’re going to lose pretty convincingly today. No doubt in my mind. We don’t have much talent and we have a coach that doesn’t seem to have a clear cut strength to mitigate some of our disadvantages.
When it comes to McMismatched, I’m at the point that I was in my Saints fandom regarding Dennis Allen this past October.

Maybe they see something else and think LSU will keep it closer than the analytics suggest.

We have to get stops and score in the open court if we’re gonna win today. Also need one bench player to get to double digits and need quality minutes from the bench in general.

I just don't see it. Ole Miss is going to clamp down defensively, probably force close to 20 LSU turnovers, and turn this into a slogging half court game.
74-61 Ole Miss

Terrible coach; I’ll be watching gymnastics and NFL.

How physical of a team is Ole Miss? I think the physicality both SEC teams we played really bothered us and had as much to do with turnovers as carelessness.
But yeah, Carter and Sears don't seem to have done much to mitigate their habits that cause them to turn the ball over and as they have been the one's handling the ball most for us - that will be a concern all year.
