LSU just didn't have an answer to them.

Our defense was pounding their QB all night long. I would not want to be him today.

Teams must wonder how LSU wins as much as we have with such a brain-dead obsolete scheme.

Teams are learning to load the box and dare us to throw before they can sack our QB.

Let me see. I guess we should not expect: 1) to play better in game #13 than in #1? 2) to see improvement in skills during the course of the season? 3) to have players in shape to play a full 60 minutes in the last game of the year instead of cramping up and leaving the field? 4) for players to know their assignments and not look confused during the game? 5) for our $4MM/ year coach to understand and execute clock management in a way that aids our team in winning instead of making us a laughingstock? 6) for a top-rated QB to be able to put air under the ball for the occasional deep route receiver to run under and score a touchdown? 7) for an OC to realize that EVERYONE can determine our play selection mentality by our player personnel grouping and formation? 8) for a coach who makes $350,000 PER MONTH to know when it's time to hire a top quality OC and leave him the hell alone so he can produce an offense that is better than 85th in the nation? Should I go on? Sorry, these are not the expectations of a " spoiled" fan base but instead one that pays for and desires excellence. So STFU!

You need to become a pro football fan. That's a profession, and the fans have the right to demand excellence, because excellence is the standard.

This is UNIVERSITY varsity sports. Student-athletes play for nothing but the love of the game. The coach's main job is to guide the young men to become a better person.

These are amateurs, no professionals. Those kids were there to have fun and play a kid's game. Believe me, they spent more time having fun on their field trip than they did studying game film.

I guess we just don't see eye to eye here. Coach Miles is doing a great job. Want proof? He just got a raise and 7 year contract extension. That's my proof.

Maybe, just maybe Clemson was the better team. I know that's very hard for the rant to admit.

Clemson WAS the better team with better players for that game. Coach Miles's careful guidance and decision-making during the game helped LSU to keep it close and almost win the game. You can't ask for more than that.

Dude. That sums it up perfectly. An exhibition game. That's really what it felt like and pretty much how it looked the coaches treated it like. Nobody wanted to be there so it was like "Meh, let's go have some fun". Clemson had all the sense of urgency. And LSU didn't give a shite. Some of you people are really treating it like it's the end of the world.

And you are happy about your team "not giving a shite?" Wow.

I'm not happy about it. But I'm certainly able to understand not getting up for it. None of them wanted to play this opponent in this bowl. They deserved to play a better opponent in a better bowl but they got slived into this strip mall/chain restaurant type vanilla bullshite bowl game. And they mailed it in against an opponent that didn't. It's a 10 win season with a new starting qb behind a rebuilt oline. That's what happened. They didn't lose because of just coaching or just because they weren't as good. They lost because they didn't care about the game.

I dont give a shite if we didn't like the bowl game. When you hit the field and strap on the helmet its football. You beat your opponent. the Defense did its job with one let down on the last drive (probably tired as hell).

The Offense had multiple opportunities to take it to Clemson. Both offensive players and Coaches need to look at film and in the mirror and admit they failed (not all players but most).

You sunshine pumpers cannot even get the message correct. The statement was failure to prepare the team for each scheduled game is insubordination. Make sure you understand the statement before showing your lack of intelligence to all on the board.

Please continue to tell yourselves this. Whatever makes ya'll sleep at night. Clemson is the better team. That MIGHTY SEC defense was exposed by Tajh and Nuk. Ya'll got curb stomped after talking all that crap and whining about playing us. Now you can burn your faux Death Valley to the ground, and take your retarded sounding Tiger Rag and shove it up your arse's.

I disagree. I was pumped for the game, and you can tell the players were too based on how hard they were hitting out there.

The defense was laying the wood.

For the money that I spend on LSU football multiplied times X -
this is serious business. If you don't believe it just look at Miles' salary and the economic impact LSU football has on the local economy.
This is real serious business. Otherwise it would not be able to financially support all other major sports at LSU except 2, as well as give $7MM annually to the academic side.

Developing young men is the ultimate goal but I can think of 40 guys who could do that better than CLM for less than 25% of his salary. Including teaching them to speak an intelligible sentence during a press conference or a TV interview. Les embarrasses the Manship School of Journalism every time he steps to the mike.

Yea, because I forgot LSU had the most classiest fan base. The section beside me was cheering when Sammy got hurt. Class acts. How does it feel to whine and cry about playing us, saying you deserve to play a better team in a better bowl game, and then completely get manhandled all night long? You let Nuk and Tajh have a record setting night, and for that I thank you. Put that 4&16 in your pipe and smoke it.

And to think, nobody gave us a chance. Ya'll were supposed to destroy this ACC team with your MIGHTY "SEC SPEED" & "SEC DEFENSE."

Your team played real well last night. I mean, you're a retard and I'm not sure what kind of consolation prize winning a 4th tier bowl against the 4th best team in the SEC is, but I guess if you're a Clemson fan you don't have much to hang your hat on so a 1 point win over an okay SEC team must feel like winning a Championship.

So congrats on the win.

Go look at the stats bud. Your soft arse players couldn't even stay on the field during the last drive because they were so exhausted from having their arse drug around all night. We had nearly five hundred yards of total offense.

Just shut up and enjoy the victory.

If there weren't teams like LSU last night that played well below their potential, your boys wouldn't have any big wins.

BTW, your asses got curb stomped in the biggest game of your season (USCe). So when the games count, how good is CU?

We played two defensive players that had not seen the field this year due to injuries. If that would have been the BCSNCG, trust me - they would not have played on D. We were getting them ready for next year.
