First off, go frick yourself. Second, I was referring to the fact that LSU lost to both of those teams, thus the memory loss as to why LSU is where they are due to that fact. Third, go frick yourself yet again.

So if we still lost but not in "Les Miles fashion" you think we would have made made it to the Sugar Bowl? I think not...

I've been wondering this since that game how the hell do we fall so many spots by hanging with the number one team but these top ranked teams lose to nobody schools and fall two or three spots

That's fine, but if you're gonna drop us 11 after giving Bama their best game, call it both ways. Florida dropping just two spots is an absolute joke.

Florida and Auburn both only dropped two spots. I'm not saying this was an anti LSU thing in the committee, but it is bullshite.

Need to go back to the computer.

Absolutely Speedy...and what's worse is Florida got on the board whereas LSU shite the bed on offense against Bama.

Makes no difference. They also got beat by 40 points. We, (refs) allowed 1 touchdown and a field goal. Auburn lost to Georgia and Florida lost to Tennessee. All of the opponents we lost to are currently ranked. Can't say that about Auburn and Florida. I'm not arguing we should be ranked ahead of them, just that the way we fell versus the way they fell after the Bama loss is fricking ridiculous.

The committee is corrupt and is nothing more than a tool for ESPN and the rest of the networks to create the games they want. That is why the BCS was done away with.

There are all kinds of considerations that go into a dramatic drop in comparison to the drop of others. Simply the week one loses in comparison to those that don't has a huge effect. However, had LSU challenged Bama at all on the offensive side of the ball, I am certain it would have made a difference.

I did not go back and look at all of the ramifications of the 11 spot drop, but I would not be surprised that many of the teams between where we were ranked and where we ended up did not lose.

Where I get angry about the ranking is in particular this season.
LSU lost 4 games giving up a total of 3 TDs. While offense in those games was weak, defense simply played all out. What happened to the mantra that "defense wins championships"?

Florida lost their last 2 games of the season, at a point when they (every team) SHOULD be at their best by a combined score of 85-24.
All 4 of LSU's losses are a combined score of 60-37.

The final rankings make ZERO sense.

FSU is a Tier 1 program. Louisville is not, thus the special treatment.

Tier 2 programs beating Tier 1 programs head to head means nothing.

No LSU didn't struggle with FL LSU struggled with them selves and any other team that fumbles 3 times in their own redzone would get the benefit of the doubt especially after giving bama that kind of game. God I hope O shuts all you idiots up and just wins. Shouldn't of lost to FL but we moved the ball all damn day so no we didn't stubble at all. Idk what game you watched.

Bingo Vince.

If Bama, or any other Tier 1 program loses a game in that fashion, it would be counted as a win. They wouldn't fall. See Michigan losing to Iowa this year as the most recent example of this bias.
