Don't think it's wise move to transition to 3-4 with a coach on hot seat and LB being thinnest position on team. Plus LF7 last year, just not gonna happen.
Wouldn't mind a gradual transition, though problem is , LA produces smaller faster players, not 6'4 250 LB'ers you want in the middle of a 3-4.

I would promote Raymond than bring in someone else.

Venables is a pipe dream. Clemson would match any offer LSU made.

Good thing you're not in charge because that's a fricking awful idea

FWIW I heard the feedback our underclassmen are receiving has not been good

I will do it. I'll run a 4-2-5.

My patio builder told me Rob Ryan was speaking with Les today. He's an expert at fences and brickwork.
The patio builder, that is, not Ryan.

You could honestly pick any of those four names and you'd wind up with a slam-dunk hire. I like Pendergast because of his LB background, which we'll need on the team since we don't have a position coach.
Either that, or hire one of the other DCs, fire Steve Ensminger or BDP, and hire a LB coach.

Oh really?
Well I could see it for Lacouture and Neal, beckwith would somewhat surprise me, although, he went through a lull there where he struggled. Neal literally hasn't done anything except for this year. I understand the NFL's skepticism. I don't know why Lacatoure even sent off for a grade. Dude doesn't have the stats or crazy measurables to be a top pick.

Lacotoure isn't getting drafted. His playing time at lsu is more a testament of how bad our dl depth has gotten.

At the risk of asking a dumb question...and not flaming...what is all the love for Aranda all about?
Posted on 12/31/15 at 1:44 pm to The Pirate King
Yeah not saying some don't still go, but if they do its not because of the NFL's grades. Beck is the one I'm sweating the most

You guys really believe I drew names from the rant? That is beyond laughable. I remember last year the rant laughed at me when I said Steele was a leading candidate. This info is from solid, inside sources. Aranda is the most likely candidate at this point.

The stupidity on this board amazes me. Anyone who is listed at 6'5" 307 and was athletic enough to play his freshman year at LSU will be drafted somewhere and will make a team.
