Don’t let good stand in the way of great

We’re a dominant offense but this wasn’t our best game.

Some of those plays were absolute heads craters.

We ran a bunch of 3rd and long plays with 0 change of getting the yardage we needed.

I think for what many were saying could be a “let-down” game in between UF and Auburn...I thought it was great. You’re confusing great with perfection I think.

We have Joe Brady

I’m not concerned

It seemed confusing to me. But I know there was a reason we saw these formations.

O let’s Brady do his thing. That’s why he is here. Brady is an NFL tier offensive mind who was around Brees and Payton.

Joe Brady is here to run a train through college football. He’s demonstrating graduate level calculus to CFB which is working on basic trigonometry.

I have no worries in the handling of this team. O/E/B know what they’re doing.

It was an abject failure.

86 yards rushing, and 3 stalled drives for FGs.

Scoring on every drive equals failure, now.

Why not the single wing? Or the T-formation? [sarcasm... note for the ironically challenged - like First Cut]

LSU had the highest scoring offense in the nation all season - Until Oklahoma took the spot on Saturday.

LSU isn't about statistics, it's about championships. The coaches understand that at some point our best stuff will be stopped, and we better have an answer.

LSU fans got used to the argument that folks could not stop our run game. But we never practiced our passing game (much). The run game worked until it didn't, and then we had nothing else.

Well, I’m sure the staff puts plenty of thought into a game plan for every game, and That’s what we’re seeing. I ain’t worried about what sets they’re running if the offense is as effective as it’s been. I wouldn’t worry too much about it.

We've used them all year, i feel like we had issues in the red zone, and it does the opposite of spreading the field when we try and run.

I mean i trust coaches, but i think we could have been a little more diverse in the redzone.

The coaches either wanted to work on something, or put something extra on tape for Auburn and Bama to have to spend time scheming/practicing for. We still won the game very easily, so STFU..

I just rewatched a condensed LSU/UF game. We ran tight/bunch formations on a third or more of our plays. This thread is ridiculous on its face.

Cody Worsham talked about it in his podcast after the game.. We’ve run the bunch formations on about a quarter to a third of our plays this year.. Buckeye is still an ignorant POS, no matter how lucky he was about Burrow coming into this season..

LSU should have won 50-7 ...

Had they done so we’d be # 1 this week and not have to wait another week to get there.

I’m 7-0 with my weekly lock pics on LSU.
My 25K pokey is over $60K for the year.

I chose LSU and gave the points in all the games except Nortwestern State where I took the 52 points ... Oeaux doesn’t run up scores on his PALS ... That’s a fact ...

Moorehead is his Pal (sits next to him at the SEC meetings) and he chose not to run up that score ... Anyone else “feel” that ... Well we covered by three points ...

Ole Ramah gonna Geaux 8-0 after this week giving those 11.5 points to Auburn because Vegas SIMPLY DOES NOT RESPECT LSU

I’ll enjoy watching Bama struggle with Arkansas for a half or so like Auburn did ...
It’s gonna be a sweet weekend but 40% chance of showers and cool in the 60’s
Geaux Tigers

P.S. -

Guess Coach O needs to fire Brady and hire you....you seem to know it all. I mean you must have a hell of a coaching pedigree. Lmao

We have been running tight formations all season long. It helps create space.

Terrible, uniformed thread.

There are a ton of people here who think they know way more than they do about football.

OP is pretty much their ringleader.
