How exactly good is this guy?

He was probably a top ten pitcher in the sec last year and a legit weekend starter. Him and Hurd are a great core to start with.

The upward trajectory for him is scary good. He was a weekday starter for Bama, but elevated to a weekend starter and eventually ace after injuries. And, he was clearly the ace as the season wore on. He was, arguably, Team USA's ace this summer with Drew Beam, Carter Holton, Hagen Smith, and other big time prospects on the roster.
