I wanted us to turn down a shitty bowl invite anyway, so I’m happy with this.

We would be the reason that bowl would be shitty.

This is welcome news for the players. They get to go home and be free in 10 days.

I'm sure other school's fanbases are laughing their asses off at this.

Half your players have opted out, the players you do have are getting their shite pushed in every week, you have a major Title IX scandal going on, and you have a rogue booster who might get you in trouble.

So what do you do to punish yourself? You ban yourself from a bowl game that you were probably going to get further embarrassed in and probably wouldn't have made any money from.

Admit it. If Auburn or Ole Miss pulled this shite, everyone would be up in arms about it on here, calling it bullshite.

This is incredibly embarrassing on several levels.
I hate the NCAA but I am sure they are as impressed by this as everybody else.
Ed cannot repair the damage of his own making, but he can try to put a premature end to it.

LOL at this empty gesture. Don't make it so obvious. Jeez.

What a clown show.

Big question is: what are they afraid the NCAA will find? And what further punishment will NCAA impose?

That sucks. LSU would have done well in the Vagisil Bowl this year.

Anyone thinking this is a good thing is a special kind of stupid.

This team absolutely needed that extra practice to build to next year.

My apologies if you have already addressed this, but is basketball going to be part of this "brutal" stretch?

All true, but is this a genius move by Woodward to get a jump on hiring top notch coordinators? Be done with the season and ready to hire as soon as prospects are available. Crazy like a fox?

Thank God.

We actually had good news today.

The administration actually did something right.

The season will end on the 19th. Our potential bowl would've been like 10 days later. They aren't picking up anything in 8 or 9 days of practice they don't even want to be at.

One Team, One Podcast.
@OneTeamOnePod
We are now hearing that LSU could have 10-14 more opt outs coming. Bad times in BR right now.

Yes , but not at this time. Nothing concrete and to fluid at this time. O has real pressure on him now.
