do you give him credit for his interim tenure?

if so then he has already lost to 2 underdogs.

if you dont give him credit for interim tenure then what bases do you hire him on? his ole miss tenure?

O was hired because the other viable options were pretty shitty and we didn’t want to get in a bidding war with Texas over Herman.

O was hired because they (Alleva) punted in 2015. Tell Les his last game as coach is A&M, let him go out a hero (as he deserves), get Jimbo's agent on the phone and seal the deal.
Instead they let it linger in the air, word of LSU going after Jimbo makes it to ESPN and Jimbo has to disavow and step away - ala Les in 2007. Fast forward to 2016 and Jimbo isnt interested in the song and dance again, so our only real option is Herman. ALLEVA PUNTS AGAIN, allowing Texas to get word we are close to signing Herman and they fire Strong so they can get him instead.

We had a chance at 2 terrific coaches and Alleva fricked both of them up.

We were up by 21 points in the 4th quarter of course you continue to ignore that fact because that's what you do you ignore things that don't fit your agenda

I assume this is about the 2005 Tennessee game. It was 21-0 at the half. 24-7 at the start of the 4th. Probably should get the facts straight if you are going to call others liars.

If you don't think have the first month disrupted by massive natural disasters that directly affect players and their families I really don't know what to tell you except maybe it's you with the agenda. It's worth noting, if we're arguing about a game from 12 years ago that Tennessee really out played us, the 21-0 first half lead was due to 2 UT turnovers deep in their territory, 1 a pick 6 from the 3. Still if you want to say blowing a 21 pt lead is "inexcusable" remember Jimmy Johnson blew a 31-0 lead and Saban a 24-0 lead

The blame for this is solely on the BoS who couldn’t keep their mouthes shut and kept blabbing to any media member who would listen.

Joe didn’t call up ESPN and give them a scoop.

We'll never do better than 8-4 with O at the helm IMO. I don't think he'll survive two years.

Wait up Saturdays loss has triggered this lunching of coach O yet Aranda had the worst night of all our coaches in that game and not only does he receive no criticism but he's the chosen one? It's amazing how something as subjective as liking someone completely changes your logic.

If you don't know the difference between a lie and a mistake you're a moron. But you do which makes you an a-hole. Btw this years team had a lot of kids affected by the hurricane in Texas but I didn't use that or any excuse to defend O because it's an excuse and those are for pussies.

Are you this dumb?
Aranda has a reputation and proven accomplishments to fall back on. What does O have?

That, and one of them actually has a resume.

You're one of those people who is late to work all the time and gets in trouble for it, then when the guy who hasn't been late in 10 years is late and doesn't get in trouble, you're mad. Aren't you?

he has already posted that he blames the coordinators for the loss and cant find a single thing O did wrong.

his post in my thread..
quote:

You can blame O all you want but so far nobody has given a single example I what O did to cost us this game. The fault last night is on Aranda and Canada. Arandas gameplan was pure garbage and Canada to this point has shown nothing of the offense he ran at Pitt

Semantics, this melt was brought on by Saturdays game not what O did 10 years ago and not Arandas reputation. You can't make judgments based on one thing then when the logic doesn't hold jump to something totally different to justify it.

This statement drips with irony, considering the PR campaign behind Orgeron last fall.

no i've been consistent in my commentary since O was hired. Saturday is largely irrelevant to me. it's a single datapoint in a universe of datapoints. you have to think big picture and long-term, not short-term and with tunnel vision

Fedora has never done anything and have you seen his team this year? Wed've been in a fight for our lives vs BYU if he would've been hired. Whittingham has never won a big game in his life either.

What if they told Alleva that they learned from their mistakes?

Um have you watched North Carolina this season? He'd be lying.
