Top 10 team offensive efficiency out of over 350 teams. Not bad for just a playground team

Apparently improving from a shite show = a good coach
Making 3 tournaments in a row for the first time since 91-93 = good coach.

Just think how good they would be if they learned to find the open man when they drive and 3 players collapse on them. That's BB 101.

I’m waiting to hear you address how a top 10 team offensive efficiency of over 350 teams isn’t reflective of anything more than “just a playground team”

So you didn’t address it all. Your comment was purely asinine. Believe it or not, it’s possible to criticize without saying stupid shite.

Oh fancy way of saying streetballers

Just think how good they would be if our half court offense was more than Smart or Thomas dribbling for 15 seconds looking for their shot and then chunking something up. Just think if they actually tried to run some set plays, pick n roll, drive the lane and pass to the open man.

They are though
8 assists as a team is sad
1assist in the 2nd half
8 assists as a team is sad
1assist in the 2nd half

The fact that you think they never do any of those things and somehow managed to be top 10 in offensive efficiency, speaks volumes to how little you’ve watched or how clueless you are

You won't get an answer to this.

Juwan Howard is never coming to an SEC school that isn't named Kentucky.
Go look at how many times Michigan has been in the National Championship. While they aren't one of the top 3 or 4, they are in the top ten.
LSU doesn't even register a pulse at that level.
Basketball is slightly more controlled by coaches than soccer. By no means does the coach have control over what goes on the hardwood than, say, football. Because of that, this development takes a lot more time to get to the top in basketball than in football. The rich [Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Big 10 Teams] constantly get richer because the game doesn't change the way football does with innovative new offensive schemes that can pull off surprise victories. College basketball is a game of huge discipline to have ongoing success.
Most basketball players don't live the world of "team" like in football. They live the world of highlight reels. Look at how many top teams got knocked out in Round 1.
The best thing that can happen with this group is an extensive team meeting tomorrow where they talk this out and start next season working out akin to the 10,000 passes approach that Joe Burrow led. Can Smart or Watford lead that sort of discussion. Can Thomas stick around to see it happen?
I would suggest that Wade bring in a defensive specialist to help with the coaching team, however.

LSU is a one on one team. We count on superior individual players to create their own shots. We don’t appear to run set plays. Michigan ran a much more fluid half court offense with a lot of movement. I really don’t understand how anyone who watched the game can deny this.

Tell me anything they have done tonight that would be considered well coached?
Run an offense. Played more disciplined defense. Attack the basket when we were in the bonus early.
Obviously running an offense and playing disciplined defense was unrealistic to expect in this game, because we’d gone the whole season without learning how to do either. But those are two very obvious things that Michigan did much better than we did

top 10 in offensive efficiency,
Wade is a great recruiter and we have some great talent. They are going to score points against most teams they play in the regular season. It's when you get to this level against a good team that you're raw talent gets overwhelmed by good D and a team with offensive fundamentals.

Lmfao *youre* the clueless one. They’re highly ranked in offensive efficiency for 2 reasons: 1) they play a lot in transition, and transition leads to higher PPP without need for much plan, and 2) we have incredibly talented players.
Any bum can tell a talented roster to go play fast.

That’s such an egregious oversimplification. If it’s simply about playing in transition with the best athletes, please explain how teams like Colgate, Belmont, Toledo and Wright State are also top 10. How about Iowa? That’s their MO huh, play in transition with better athletes than everyone else in the Big 10? Oh wait...
