Yeah you guys beat the daylights out of a better version of their team last season. I see something like a 38-17 LSU win.
Thanks, but I don’t see LSU scoring less than 40 the rest of the way.

UGA is very good - best treat LSU has faced all season. Coaching staff will have the team prepared.

The proper term is “skullfrick”. We are going to skullfrick Georgia.

UGA struggled to beat A&M and won 19-13 two weeks ago. Hope the mutual opponent comparison is a good predictor.

This is what I believe as well, unless Georgia presents some as of yet unseen defensive scheme which is effective in blunting the multidimensional Brady offensive scheme.
The Georgia offense, in big games, has been barely servicable. Notwithstanding early Vegas odds showing a 2-3 point spread, as well as this appearing to be a Georgia home game, I don't believe it will be a close game at all.

They struggled mightily against the Aggies. However, Georgia beat Florida and Auburn more thoroughly than did LSU (notwithstanding the final scores).
The transitive property of college football is a poor gage on the prospective outcome of a particular game.

I agree. And it has nothing to do with being a homer and boasting just for fun, as UGA fans would probably think we are.
It's that there really isn't a defense that can shut this offense down, if they aren't shooting themselves in the foot. I just don't see it.
But also because Fromm is a very inaccurate QB who, strangely enough, used to be lauded for his accuracy. I remember saying last year that it was all dink and dunk, and that he couldn't be counted on to win a game for them if they needed him to. I saw a lot of others saying this, as well, earlier this year, and as the season has progressed he has regressed. It seems like every time I look at UGA's box scores, he's something like 11-25. He completed less than 50% of his passes yesterday, in a game his team won by 45 over a 3 win team.
The dude just isn't very good right now. But unlike other poor passers LSU has faced at times this year, Fromm is not a runner. That allows LSU to be very aggressive on defense, and we already saw what happened last year when they were a better offense. I think LSU comes out, smelling blood in the water and wanting to make yet another statement to the committee and media, and plays absolutely lights out.
I told my dad yesterday that I'd be surprised if it's within three touchdowns. I can easily see it being much worse than that. Georgia doesn't suck; LSU is just that good, and Georgia does not match up well.

quote:that's what i've been saying for 2 weeks. they throw outside the hashes which is perfect for fulton/stingley. those 2 excel in man outside coverage. otherwise, uga runs between the tackles which we are better at stopping. on the other side, lsu will get yards and points against anyone. it's a bad matchup for uga
Our defense seems to be geared more towards their pro style offense

but now most of their skill players are out or limited.
If you beat a team that doesn’t have their star players, are you even really winning? Like Auburn beating Bama without having to play Tua... I mean, they’ll get their win but....
Like taking food from a lions den while the lion is out.

Who is this Ridley you speak of??? The WR that is suspended for the first half is Pickens.
