It’s a miracle that we take 1 of 3 from Ms State or Vandy anymore. I’m sorry. It’s time for Pawl to go.

Shouldn’t happen at this program. We’re middle of the road in the SEC which is pathetic.

We shouldn't be beaten by better teams? Or there shouldn't be better teams?

The former makes no sense. The latter is outdated.

Gonefishing will be here to defend mediocrity soon. SMDH

Paul needs to go. The game has passed him by.

We will not. MSU is better than LSU in all positions except maybe 3. I suggest they cut all that ugly hair. If you are going to play like crap, at least look like men doing it.

Vandy is a different animal. They should have a talent advantage over every team in the country.

I agree with your overall point though. Paul has let State, OM, and arky pass him by in his own division. On the other side, Florida has left LSU in the dust as well.

Florida missed the tournament in 2019.

And? They were arguably the best team in the country when things got shutdown last year. LSU was missing the tourney last year. Covid saved Paul’s arse.

- UF has another team that will contend for a top 8 seed this year.
- 2018 won 2 games in Omaha
- 2017 beat LSU for the NC

This what you were waiting for? Apparently some of you don’t know the definition of mediocrity considering how it gets used around here. By the way. I don’t defend PM as a coach. I know nothing about how he coaches. I defend that the results have been consistently better than most other programs. Speaking of “consistency”. Read what the article says about it.

From a 2018 247 article about the top programs from the last decade.

1. Florida
2. TCU
3. South Carolina
4. UVA and Vandy tied.

No.6 LSU

quote:

Perennial SEC power LSU comes in sixth with 110 points. Next to Florida, they have won the most SEC conference championships in the last 10 seasons, winning it three times. During that ten-year span, they have played in nine regionals, winning six. Of the six Super Regionals they have played in, they have advanced to the College World Series four times. They have won one national championship, in 2009. While they haven't won a national championship since that season, they did appear in the championship series in 2017, finishing national runner-up to Florida. LSU has been the model of consistency when it comes to playing in the College World Series not only for the past 10 season, but the previous 10 years as well, playing in the College World Series four times, the same number as the past 10 years.

This is LSU. There shouldn’t be any better opponents.
