Sage? From all accounts, he will be at the NB/Cb spot.

LSU will be too 12-20 next year. No higher. Too 5 contenders will be:

Bama - they lose a lot, but have recruited better than everyone else. Saban always has them in contention.

Clemson - they lose TLaw and ETN, but return basically everyone else. DJU will have them in contention next year.

Georgia - they have been a QB away from competing for a natty. They have one now.

OU - they were young this year and will be better next year.

OSU - they were young this year and return a lot next season. They will be top 5.

LSU isn’t in the same ball park as those 5 next season. LSU is 3 years away from being I. The CFP mix again.

I dont understand the infatuation with Ika. He's a solid guy to have in the rotation for depth. He's not a game changing defensive tackle. He's not going to play much over Smith & Roy.

Uh...depth

He was OK last year when in for Shelvin. Depth dude!!

It will be interesting to see how Bama bounces back from losing three Heisman contenders at one time in that offense. They will be good but have to develop some chemistry for the first time in a while

Top 15. sure. Top 5? Not likely.

One thing the talking heads on ESPN said that I agree with is our O-line wasn’t great in 2019 either, but Burrow, Clyde, and Chase hid that and made up for it well. That’s what great players can do. We have some great players on offense next year as well.

LSU was a top 5 team this year, they just didn't play like it.
