He keeps watching because he was promised an exciting, throw-first, spread-em-out brand of offense, and he's still hopeful that it will be delivered at some point.

November 7, 2015 LSU, coached by Les Miles, was undefeated, Ranked #4 in the AP and Coaches poll, #2 by the CFP committee.

September 25th, 2016 Les Miles was fired After LSU suffered its second loss in four games. Both to a team that would end up ranked at the end of the season.

Maybe some of the bitching is because people feel we are sort of in the same position we were in during the 2015 season.

And how many of these freaking threads you does Joe have yall starting?

Actually most of the bitching is elicited by these threads.

“ they just aren’t fun to watch”

No doubt the offense to this point in time has been disappointing, but any LSU football win is fun for me to watch.

we don't have to think it. just the coaches and the sports writers of the two different polls.

Then why do you keep watching?

Because I'm an alum, I love my school, and I'm hoping one day the offense is consistently balanced? But that's right, sunshine pumpers can see the positive in being dead last in the SEC in offense. yay Coach O and E.

When LSU is in the discussion as a national contender. "How dare the committee rank LSU #5. What are those idiots thinking? They know nothing about football! When LSU is ranked outside the top 15. "ESPN hates LSU, everyone in the media hates LSU"

Exactly. Spoiled, idiotic fans who aren't happy unless they're complaining about something. It's embarrassing. They remind me of liberals who think they're entitled to everything they want. frick em.

LSU has a lot of football ahead. I frankly don't care about the rating at this point.

"Because any rankings before mid season is stupid and not reliable."

So does this mean Alabama isn't really #1?

I forgot that being ranked at a particular spot at week 5 was
the bar for LSU football.

Now that this year’s goal has been met, we can start looking to next year.
