Y'all need to take a look at the resumes and teams we're competing against for these spots. Is Houston a blue blood? Texas Tech? Florida State? We don't deserve a 2. Who of Duke, UNC, UVA, Gonzaga, UK, UTk, Michigan State, Michigan do we deserve to go in over? We blew our chance today.

man, this "we're getting screwed" narrative is getting really old. The Selection Committee doesn't have a bias against LSU, and neither do the refs, media, ESPN, etc. And regardless, after the first game of the tourney, any team we play will be a good one.

I have no problem with a 3 seed. A 4 seed is much worse - we'd be playing the 1 seed in the Sweet 16.
None of that is nearly as bad as 2009 when, as champions of the SEC, the NCAA made us an 8 seed, meaning we had to play eventual champion UNC in the second round. That team was much better than, and more deserving than an 8 seed.

I realize as an Aggie I will piss off a number of people, but here is a rational thought. You do recall A&M's team last year beat UNC at UNC. Given the quality of this team, I see no reason for you to do the same.

3 seed is fine with me. we still might get a 2. I doubt they'll dump us to a 4. Lunardi still has us as a 2.

What a bunch of whiney sad sacks with persecution complexes. Whatever seed we get is moot. Win and it doesn't matter.
Every year some team whines about seeding and then gets embarrassed by an early exit.

Yep, when you look at who we've beaten and how close our losses have been. We only have one double digit loss all year and that was in a tournament back in November. Our 3 SEC losses were by a total of 9 points (and one of those was in OT). I'll be ok with a 3 or 4, but a 5 would be complete bullshite considering we beat Tennessee without Waters and UK at Rupp.

A 3 seed wouldn't be "getting screwed". LSU has always been on the 2/3 borderline. That would have remained the case even with a win today.
Now, getting a 4 seed would be a bit of a hose-job because LSU has better objective metrics that teams like Purdue, Texas Tech, Houston, even Tenn.

We got an uphill climb for sure, with or without Will Wade. The season was really fun, but it's unlikely we can win versus excellent competition and with officiating blatantly favoring whoever, I mean whoever our opponent is. They're not even going to try to hide it. They've got it in for us boys and that's a tall order.
