DBU 1. LSU, 2. Ababama, 3 Florida
WRU 1. Clemson, 2. Ohio St., 3. LSU
LBU 1. Alabama, 2. LSU, 3. Penn St.
RBU 1. Alabama, 2. Georgia, 3. LSU
DLU 1. Alabama, 2. Clemson, 3. Georgia, 4. Ohio St., 5. LSU.

OLU and TEU LSU not in top 10.

These rankings were done by Sports Illustrated. Sports Illustrated - Position U My take is this is about what I would have expected.

Either way, it does reflect that LSU is and has been in the elite status as a college football program for years.

The past season is obvious! LSU has reached the pinnacle!

With the incoming recruiting class and the remaining talent, there is no reason to believe LSU cannot remain at the top!!!

Crazy how Louisiana seems to have a 5 star DLineman every year but LSU isn't top 5 for DLU.

Padded Alabama stats counting Mark Barron as DB

As recruited by everyone but Bama for a LB spot, he signed with Bama at DB and got burned in the pros bad and moved to LB.

I'm shocked Ohio State isn't in the top 3 for DBU in SI. I've seen people break down their talent a DB in the past and they are very competitive.

No kidding. I remember one game the Saints starting DBs were Lattimore, Apple, Vonn Bell, and Kurt Coleman who all went to OSU.

Had Brady been here for the last 5 years or so we would be #1 in every single offensive group.

5 years ago Joe Brady had just left William and Mary where he was the Linebackers coach to be a GA at Penn State, 3 years ago he left that GA role to be analyst with the Saints, so I'm gonna go ahead and so no, Brady would not have had the dominant offense if he was hired 5 years ago

5 years ago.. Brady did not know anything about the spread RPO and or the Saints offense.

The key here is that Orgeron made the decision to go Spread RPO.. Had we not had the flirtation with Canada we probably are a year behind our new offense.

IMO Brady.. great guy thank goodness he helped us. A bunch of coaches could have implemented the spread RPO..

Perfect situation Burrow Brady Ensminger Orgeron. Plus the analysts All of this had to come together for it to work for LSU.

And another top 3 overall DB pick(Okudah) this year and a fringe 1st rounder(Arnette).

Congrats on the natty though.
