We'd probably have to beat 4 out of the top 5 to win it all Alabama during regular season, Georgia in SECCG, then 2 more in the playoffs.

This is lining up almost exactly like 2011, only tougher.

Oh well...bring it on!!!

Not surprising that ESPN radio this morning talking about Michigan at #6 and didn't even mention LSU.

We go 11 - 1 we WILL BE IN PLAYOFFS
too simplisitic - we need more detail.

11-1 implies we didn't make the SEC CG, so I can only assume Bama beat us but we ran the table otherwise.

What if our loss to Bama was 50-0? Do we make the playoffs then at 11-1.

What if Georgia finishes 12-1, with their only loss being a close one to Bama in the SECCG. Do we get in the playoffs over a 1-loss UGA?

What if UGA goes undefeated and beats Bama in the SECCG, so Bama finished 12-1. Do we get in the playoffs over Bama, who beat us?

You have to think these things through, not just lob out pronouncements.

Considering we started last year ranked 18 I think we're moving in the right direction

College football needs a shake up

Well....... ask your HBC to break the 0-8 streak, stop with the stupid catch phrases and win a game against them then.

While I think these pre season ranking are dumb, Everyone I talk to has really high expectations this year.

Seems clear to me that if we lose more than one game, we’ve disappointed much of the fanbase.

In looking at the schedule, I actually think a 1 loss season is doable

Is it weird that I want TAMU to beat the brakes off of Clemson? Seems weird.

5. LSU
6. Oklahoma ( based on Jalen Hurts)

That Jalen Hurts who was the SEC offensive player of the year? The one who made the winning plays to beat LSU two years in a row as a true freshman and sophomore? The one who completed 70+% of his passes last year at Bama? You’ve got to be kidding or delusional. However there were guys on here who stated that Etling was a better QB than Hurts. You were obviously one of them.

Just saying.
