Every team ahead of us has proven to be there the last few years. So I can’t complain. We’re the only team not to make the playoffs out of the top 6.

We'd probably have to beat 4 out of the top 5 to win it all
Alabama during regular season, Georgia in SECCG, then 2 more in the playoffs.

If we go 11-1 with our only loss on the road at Alabama in a respectable game, we'd be VERY close to making the playoff.

#6 is fair. The 5 ahead of LSU have all been playoff programs over the last 5 years. They've earned the benefit of the doubt.
Interesting note. Utah St. is in the "RV" (receiving votes) category and on that basis would be ranked #35. Looking at their schedule, it is possible they could be ranked in the top 25 by the time they visit LSU on 10/5. Not likely because they play AT SDSU, but possible

Clemsons schedule is such a joke. Their hardest game is a week 2 TAMU team and a 6-6 FSU team who barely made a bowl game. That's horrible for their fans.

Clemson plays one top 25 team while LSU plays 5 in the top 16. If we had Clemson schedule, we would be playoff bound every year

Best defensive players are gone and best receivers are gone. Guess Fromm carries that much weight.

I agree UGA is a bit overrated.....
But if LSU just wins with the schedule we have everything else will work itself out

They've recruited as well as anybody and Florida is the only team in their division who has any shot at competing with them.
