Hornsby is easily my favorite player on the team... And it isn't even close.

I've always enjoyed watching San Diego State play. Though it hasn't been a very great game to watch... Neither team can hit a shot.

Me either, there are more games to attend, they don't take up an entire day, and the PMAC is fun as hell when it's packed and full of energy.

It's not because he's white... I think he is one of the most dynamic players we have. In the two games (exhibition and first game) he has been all over the court. He's averaging 8 rebounds a game, shooting over 40% from three point land, is known as a great free throw shooter, is 7:3 AST:TO, and is one of the hardest workers on the team...

Plus his dad is a freaking rock star...

You did a damn fine job with those breakdowns, I read every one of them.

If the basketball program is going to gain some traction with the fanbase, now is the time. Though it is a shame because the season is so short, many LSU fans are "done" with football because of their "losing ways". They are going to look to one of LSU's other programs to make them happy again. The basketball team could fill that void.

After Thanksgiving there likely won't be a great bowl game to look forward to, or a big time recruiting class like last year (at least it seems that way). Too bad LSU plays some crappy OOC home games in Dec. But either way, if they can go on a run starting tonight, we might see more asses in the seats come SEC play.

Grey was pretty good on Saturday, Hes quick. Hoping we see some improvement in Big Elbert i think he is key for us to have a breakout year

I was fine with Elbert. I don't expect him to score much, but if he can guard a post player okay and rebound some, he will be fine. Only expect 15-20 minutes from him.

I agree with this, but after Saturday I think Epps is a big key too. Dude has all the potential to be a great defensive player. Especially if they play a lot of 2-3 like I think they will (should).

Im not expecting much scoring out of him either but he still look a bit slow with the rest of the team. I know first game and all and im sure he will get up to pace.

Also Epps impressed me he looked like a perfect fit when we want to start running the court the Mickey Martin Epps frontcourt with the Grey Hornsby Backcourt is going to be fun to watch

I was actually surprised with the amount of speed he had. After watching his high school film, I never thought he would be able to run the court. He really improved his speed when he lost all the weight.

He's not a super athletic post guy, he is a rock down there that you shouldn't be able to move. There's positives and negatives to that type of player. He will be important in some games, and less important in others.
