LSU lacks talent, depth, and experience running this system. This kind of effort is an inevitable part of the process.

Agreed. They play a bunch of guys, and should be improved in talent next year. I still think +/-17 wins is possible this year, which would be pretty decent.

TJ set the program back but I have confidence in JJ. Give him time...

Well thats what happens when you've only got one true post presence and your most talented players are guards in an up tempo system. This is something that was talked about by players and coaches earlier in the season. CJJ believes in his guards, especially when they are the teams only source of life.

Everyone knows we are less than stellar in the half court due to personnel so I can't blame the guards for taking shots when they are available. Its not like Hamilton is going to run through those doors and give CJJ a reason to take the keys from the guards.

I'm not, he's just not good. He doesn't have post moves, and isn't a good shooter, terrible shot selection, and commits too many fouls

Well it's either that or the coaching sucks because I know they arent being coached to play defense like they did at the end of the 1st half and are right now.

Im of the opinion that this coach will turn it around but not with a lot of the players you see on the floor right now....some are wild and crazy with their decision making. That aint going to cut it in JJ's system.

However, JJ knows that to get the players coming out in LA in the very near future he has to show some w's so he is forced to take what he can get right now with these guys.

That is what it is......however like I said you can throw sugar on it and sleep better all you want I dont give a shite.

If you think we lack the talent to play THIS type of system with all the slashers and shooters we have and no post presence, I'd LOVE to hear what system you'd suggest.

Last year's Missouri team would as well.

You're correct. This was mentioned by a poster before he stepped foot on campus. He was blasted by the TJ blowhards.

Johnny is a solid player though in my opinion. Nothing more.

He's also getting double and triple teamed everytime he touches the ball.

He definitely is, mostly because he handles the double team horribly

Every team we've faced has been doing that to him. And yet we still do the same thing.
