Has the Tulane melt started?
Sumerall could have left Tulane last year for North Carolina, Arkansas, and West Virginia. He decided to stay another year at Tulane which was a wise choice as Kentucky, Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, LSU, UCLA, and Michigan State have all made contact with his Agent over the last month.

Sumrall would be depressing.

Saban and Miles came here at very similar points in their careers.
I think Michigan State and Oklahoma State football is on a higher level than Tulane football. Even if only for the competition they play.
Saban and Miles both also had NFL coaching experience. Sumrall doesn't.

Y’all are too big name obsessed did you not learn from Brian Kelly? Sumrall is universally praised amoung coaching circles, young, hungry and has LA connections. He would be the perfect up and comer higher to bet on
Oh god shoot me. Billy Napier 2.0

It's funny to me that Sumrall is summarized by what happened with Napier. I guess if Napier had been more successful, then everyone would want Sumrall. Both positions would be unrelated to actually how good of a choice he is.
He's the best choice on that list, and a good personality fit.

Watch some Tulane games and you’ll see a coach who demands physical disciplined football. By the way he can manage the clock well which Billy was miserable at for ULL.
They barely beat army
If you want to hire from G5 it better be someone who really lights the world on fire there. Sumrall’s results this yr have been meh
