There is no way LSU makes the playoffs without playing in the sec championship game. None. Period. Zero. They wouldn't put in a big 12 team last year because they didn't have a championship game, and even dropped them out of the top 4, after winning a game the last week, because of it. The is no way they put in a team who didn't even make the conference championship game, regardless of how many losses they have. Remember, one of the huge catalysts for the CFP was the mulligan game.

Yes. There are a lot of good to great teams that will have just one loss or less and we are going to have a hard time working our way above them.

no, because the way the big 10 is shaping up, they could have a 1 loss champion as well. I think Utah will drop one. so there won't be 4 undefeated conference champions to pick from.

If the committee let in a 1 loss tOSU last year then they will absolutely give a 1 loss SEC Champ the 4th seed.

What if we beat Bama then lose to Ole Miss. Ole Miss would win the west with 2 losses (only one conference loss). If they go on to actually win the SEC, I could see a 1 loss LSU getting into the playoff over a 2 loss SEC Champ.
