What's wrong with what the OP stated? Not having money is going to be the end of certain schools. Saban called this.

That people do not believe LSU’s relatively small endowment is not symptomatic of the colossal dysfunction of this state and its people, is mind-boggling. Yes, these things do matter and points to the future of relevancy of the institution. If the flagship university of this state cannot raise funds with its national branding, then it’s a big problem.

It’s stupid because our endowment has absolute zero to do with our ability to fund athletics. Schools aren’t paying money out of their endowment for NIL.

It’s a very flimsy argument to say we don’t have money considering the contracts we sling around.

Our NIL issue looks to be a BK not wanting to pay 12M for a kid.
