That does not matter that much in this series. In just this Millennium we have won more in the state of Alabama then we have in TS. It is the officials. Bama has an advantage with the SEC official no matter where they play. And ironically we still play better at BD even in losses than we do at TS.

We do. We have been that way since the 80's, it has gone on for years now. We play too tight in TS vs. Bama regardless of their record.

A losing record against Bama in Birmingham and a losing record against Bama in Tuscaloosa. We all know what the record is in Baton Rouge.

Eh, I think it depends on the year. Last year they had a whole lot more guys with quality experience from previous years than they do this year. To say that experience doesn’t matter in sports isn’t true, but most people ignore the fact that last years’ experience can carry over to the next

I think the biggest edge we have is Burrow wants this game. He wants to leave LSU with the curse broken and a national championship. When that young man is set on something he almost seems to manifest it through true grit and determination and the team rallies behind him as a leader. I don’t know if we win but I know we will leave it all out on the field.

8 losses in a row??? You idiots can come up with all your reasons why this year is different, but its all bullshite. We are going to get rolled and that's even if Tua doesn't play. Saban is just too good when he has 2 weeks to prepare a defense and their offensive line is going to control the game/clock. Its going to be a blow out and not in our favor.

Didnt we say this last year?

Maybe we did. But the biggest difference this year is we have Joe Burrow and a modern elite offense that gives Bama trouble (like it did with Clemson) and we have experience in the trenches and Bama is young at LB. Advantage LSU

Jesus. Have you always been such a quitter? Maybe we should just forfeit now then?

A big asterisk needed. That site is not including Legion field in the away category. They are grouping wins for LSU there in the neutral category. I know at least four wins at Legion field since 1970 ('70, '82, '84, and '86). 16-24-2 in the state of Alabama much better than 8-28-2 at home and 8-28-3 in state of La. anyway it is sliced.

Are we playing this game in Birmingham or some other Tuscaloosa venue? Because I read that it's being played at Bryant-Denny Stadium, Bama's home stadium, where Bama doesn't have a winning record against LSU.

I hope E can muster a few points this season against Bama. Getting manhandled last year still causes me a great deal of concern for this game. So many fans and players said last year was the year to finally beat them. Yet laid an egg and got blown out

home field advantage

Historically, we have had much better results as the away team in this series...take it with a grain of salt, but it has been one of the odd quirks with regard to our limited success in this rivalry.

WRONG...

LSU is 10-13 in Tuscaloosa.

WRONG. I said Bryant-Denny Stadium. I didn't say Tuscaloosa. I made it pretty clear in that quote you just posted. You have games listed that were played before Bryant-Denny Stadium was built.
