LSU has something bama doesn't. . . .

Battle toughness. LSU has played in really loud, tough environments this year. LSU has been in knock down drag outs--like Texas game. LSU has played against top level players who did their best to intimidate LSU. LSU has played against talented coaching staffs. And LSU is peaking! I'm glad Auburn game wasn't one-sided. LSU I'm sure has used that game to motivate and focus themselves even more. I believe LSU is ready for this game in ways bama hasn't even experienced yet---things you can't practice or coach for. LSU should respect but not fear bama. But bama better fear the Tigers. We comin'

They have one thing we don’t (and wish we did) - home field advantage!

Works both ways. We’ve been in much more physical contested games where starters played 4q etc.

They'll have the stands, we'll have the turf!!

We had been battle tested last year as well. I don’t think it means as much as people say it does. Bama will be ready to play regardless. It’s just comes down to our offense executing like we know they can and our defense not missing tackles. Bama WRs will get theirs. The thing I like most about this matchup is how many more veterans we have than them on the front 7 and along the offensive line.

Considering they don't have a winning record against us in Bryant-Denny Stadium, seems like a good deal for us.

Didnt we say this last year?

I think our guys play a lot more loose and relaxed at their place. We put too much pressure on them here. We played pretty well there 2 years ago.

I was thinking Burrow!!

LSU fans have said this every year since 2011.
"We're battle tested, we've played tough teams, we know how to win close games. Alabama has played no one".
It does not matter.

Yep.
Bama is Bama. We know they are awesome regardless of who they have played. Though LSU's offense is completely different this year.
To be honest, between both teams, Texas is the only good offensive team either has played and LSU just outscored them. Both defenses may be in for a little shock with the WRs they will be facing.

They have many more players injured. Both teams are coming off a bye. Advantage LSU

Not really. Jalen Hurts pretty much had his way when the game mattered, LSU couldn't move, and the Tide built a 21-0 lead.

Their advantage is having several scrimmage games, before we play.

LSU played pretty decent there last time. Much better than last year anyway. It was still a game in the 4th quarter as LSU was down 11. LSU outrushed them and outgained them in total yards while holding them to under 300 yards of offense with Hurts averaging just over 3 ypc. But Etling had a really off game, so it did feel like Bama controlled the game even though they didn't do a lot against LSU.

That’s where the game will be won or lost

Battle tested
should be the quote... and it could pay huge dividends... Bama big games here recently have been let downs... the georgia game last year was blown.. and they got blown out by Clemson... i dont think they have the same confidence because they are young in some areas... especially defense... sometimes you gotta play some wars to find out what youre made of and who you are... LSU certainly has been battle tested and come out on top... they have a true confidence about them...

You're wrong. Means nothing. What means something is experienced, older by 2-4 year old kids with years of training table nutrition, practice field technique, game experience, and the best weight room work any place against raw freshmen on Bama's defense. There is your edge and it will show up and be key.

Burrow will have a chip on his shoulder.
