That is all that need be said about the team thus far this year. Yes, much has been said about the offense for at least four years. The common thread, the only common thread, is CLM. This year, as last to some extent, the O-line is not performing. Unless this changes, a less than spectacular QB will not be able to compensate.

Hard to fault the D, considering the injuries and the futility of the offense. What if this is as good as it gets?

I can see losses to uSC, TAMU and, of course, the hated gumps if the O-line does not come to life. If that happens, look for loss to MSU as well.

Not a flame, just trying to be objective.

So what? We've allowed 24 points scored on us?

Isn't it easier for you to go root for a winning team than go through with this state of LSU football?

It is difficult for most to remove emotion from the "discussion". To this point the O-line has been the major problem. That is supposed to be CLM's strength.

hopefully, the quicker we can get the program to rock bottom, the quicker we can get a real coach like Tuberville or Nutt

Yes, 16. 10 against Auburn and 6 against UF, unless I have miscalculated.

You know, Miles does all kinds of shite that bothers me. But I find it absofrickinglutely comical that there are so many negative posts on the day of the biggest home game so far this year. Sitting next to some of you guys during the game must be pure ecstasy. If you're a masochist.

More telling, and a legitimate source of frustration for LSU fans IMO, is that LSU's offense hasn't ranked higher than 75th in the nation (total offense) since the MNC season. That was Crowton's first season and Flynn's senior year.

In my view it is perfectly legitimate for fans to express frustration that a coach being paid $4mm a year, playing with some of the best athletes in the country, can't produce at least a top 25 offense.

Waste is a frustrating thing to watch and CLM is wasting LSU's offensive talent.

He's not counting the safety in the Auburn game. It was scored against Auburn's offense, not their defense. Read the title of the original post.

We have learned something new.

12 + 6 now apparently equals 16.

I read his subject: it said LSU. Not half of LSU.

He needs to edit his subject and stop being a retard.

Agree. Today's game may clarify the problem further. It may be that LSU just does not have the talent on O-line to make any credible threat for SEC West let alone MNC. This is 100% the responsibility of CLM.

Sure his record is arguably the best at LSU, but in some very big games his coaching, IMHO, has come up very short. This is what matter now. Just having big games is not enough. Got to win them.

And for the arithmetically challenged, 10+6=16.

I don't claim to be a mathematical genius, but I'm pretty sure that 16 is less than 24.

Well good luck with that around here. LSU fans are dedicated and at the same time gullible and prone to hero-worship. Miles was handed the Keys to the Kingdom. Truth be told, he's a likable but terribly inept coach. The Saban wave was real and it's finally out of gas. His unwillingness to adapt can be viewed as him being hard headed or just lacking the creative skills to do so. Either way, the results are the same.

This will be yet another year of squandered talent at the hands of a man who's in way over his head.
