I read his subject: it said LSU. Not half of LSU.
He needs to edit his subject and stop being a retard.
Read it again. We scored 16 points against SEC defenses and 2 points (safety) against Auburn's offense.
Retard?

I can see losses to uSC, TAMU and, of course, the hated gumps if the O-line does not come to life. If that happens, look for loss to MSU as well.

Why be suprised by negative post. Miles has not instilled anyone with the idea he can turn things around. When a fricking coach says IDK in fricking press conference what is the fan base and the players supposed to think?

I'm willing to hope LSU can turn things around, but I'm pretty much skeptical at this point. Because against good teams and especially Towson, Auburn, and UF, this LSU offense has re-discovered the old Brook Trout look. Who remembers? *Only, I think it used to mostly apply to an inept defense.

Maybe the mad hatter can throw the ball deep down the middle , put an extra lineman in the backfield for pass protection, etc, why not try some innovation on offense?

If one looks at the facts dispassionately, the situation portends a very disappointing season. The offense has been problematic for years. Seeing Towson smack the O around was all I needed to understand that something is rotten in the state of LSU's offense. They are unable to protect the QB and cannot run block effectively against SEC defenses. What else is there to say at this point.
A good performance will allay many concerns, but I do not see it happening.

We know...... We know..... I started saying this when we were up 6-0 and bout 20 times by the end of Saturday night.

I beg forgiveness of the high-browed and numerate Rantards. The subject implied, or so I thought, that the LSU offense had scored 16 points inasmuch as the Defense is not expected to score as a matter of routine.
Hope that smooths some feathers.

This will be yet another year of squandered talent at the hands of a man who's in way over his head.
I fear this may be the truth. He comes up short when it really counts. At some point the offense needs to score against good SEC defenses unless the game plan calls for defensive touchdowns.

The most frustrating thing to me is that the problem seems obvious. CLM recruits great athletes. That's all that he does well. His game management is atrocious and he clearly can't call offensive plays.
In order to win, he needs good coordinators. We've had two good DCs, Pelini and Chavis. They produced elite, world class defenses and brought a lot of wins with the talent CLM recruited for them.
There is no reason to believe that a good OC couldn't produce the same results. We don't have a good OC and Miles is clearly not a good enough coach to run the offense himself. LSU is one assistant coach from being dominant. The talent is there. The coaching isn't.
When a coach is paid $4 mm a year but can't hire a competent OC and can't do the job himself, hen the fans have a legitimate basis to question and criticize the HC.

PS - Not good enough to hold LSU's talent to 8 points a game if we had a competent OC.

Being severely, but fairly, criticized is part of the job description of the HC.

Yes. Sadly, such posts are all too common here on TD. Yes, I am a dumbfrick, but feel free to speak to my argument after attacking me personally.
Oh, I watch the games with my eyes closed and the sound off.

Too many people do not want to admit what anybody that opens their eyes can see.
Miles lost it in January in my book. Man had a chance to shut the Saban book and never even tried to win that game. Been standing around looking beyond inept since that game.
Way I figure it. Expect a loss and if they win, great. But never expect greatness from a Miles team. He will never have an undefeated BCSNC season.
Accept what we have - a mediocre, at best, head coach and a good recruiter that is a "nice" guy. We have some better than average D coaches along with an incompetent and overpaid OC, OL and QB coaching staff.
Doubt that the light bulb will suddenly go on in the 2nd half of the season but you never can tell.
In the meantime, Saban is working on his 3rd crystal in 4 years slightly to our East.
