LSU has more to contend with now then ever before.

Ole Miss just reached 11 wins after smacking down a very good Penn State team.
Arkansas has proven they actually give a shite about football with petrino and almost beat us and our heisman winner this year.
Saban.
UGA has their own little mini dynasty going right now.
And... We have the worst defense in the history of LSU football. And the entire team was one guy.
BK has his work cut out for him that's for damn sure.
It's a shame we don't keep Auburn because they are in a dark pit of misery right now.

A bad hire would have been someone like Napier.
We'd have probably been a 2 win team the past 2 years if he was at the helm. That would have been a bad hire.
Kelly was a damn good hire. All of his detractors are running out of things to complain about. They're starting to look like the Jayden haters from the beginning of the season. Wrong about everything.

I'm seriously questioned the desire to win

19-7, already won the West, Heisman Trophy winner, and hopefully on Monday close out back to back 10 win seasons.
Runs a clean program, and our Oline will be dominant under him. Is the new SEC a gauntlet of solid programs week after week….hell yes it is.

I mean, yeah. The SEC will be more loaded than ever but that’s true for everyone else too. That’s why as these conferences continue to expand, you’ll see less and less undefeated season but you’ll also have way better week to week matchups. And just wait until the league goes to a 9 game schedule. Not that any of that matters because with that type of schedule, you likely make the playoffs even with 2-3 losses. Get hot, stay healthy and play well in January will be the name of the game.

But, your statement is valid for all the SEC...Bama, Georgia now have to face not only the LSU, Florida, Tennessee's of the world, but Texas, Oklahoma will make some noise at some point.
So, I think the days of having an undefeated conference champ in the Big 10 or SEC is over.
But, that's why the new playoff system will be better to give your team a shot if they lose a game or two to really good competition.
