I want Bianco in a super utility role I think.

Start 45 games but at 3-4 different spots.

Ben Zobrist, DJ Lemahieu type player

Dylan Crews moving to Catcher?

That may the dumbest thing I’ve ever read on this board

Concur. Take your best player and put him in the spot where he’d take the most abuse?

Morgan shows what elite defense at 1B can do for you. The dude would be an elite defender even in the bigs. No way in hell do you move him from that position

Alex Millazo’s .131 batting average is the lowest average for any starter(45GS or 120AB) at LSU in the last 30 years.

And only the second starter to not hit above .200 during that time

2019 Brock Mathis .164
2005 Will Harris .213
2013 Ty Ross .217
1997 Brad cresse .221
2018 Hal Hughes .221
1994 Scott Beradi .222
2011 Ty Ross .223

Sorry, I’m not saying he is gone, but that dude is not safe.

Well yea he’s awesome, but if you move him to CF, you can trade Digiacomo’s bat for say Delgado’s Brayden Joubert (.386, 16hr, 70rbi .813SLG) who you would then plug in at 1B or DH.

The SEC is Super Conference college baseball. Milazzo isn't that caliber. There can't be any holes in a batting order, and Milazzo can't hit SEC caliber pitching. Same can be said for Beloso.

Exactly, you can’t bat an automatic out, don’t care how good you are on defense

How has Bianco not gotten a look at catcher? Surely he’s put the pads on a couple of times in his career.

You can if the other 8 guys are hitting. The issue with this team was they had three guys in the lineup that were almost automatic outs.

To me you move Morgan to LF, keep Bianco in CF, and start Merrifield at 2B, Travinski will probably start at C but could see Milazzo because of his defense

Lineup IMO

RF Crews
CF Bianco
LF Morgan
DH Dugas
3B Doughty
1B Joubert
2B Merrifield
SS Thompson
C Travinski / Milazzo

I think Hill is gone despite the TJ. Probably wants to get his money now and rehab with the pros. Marceaux and Hilliard I could see returning but depends if there is room for them.

He did.

In the fall and early spring, Bianco, Safford, and Crews all spent time behind the plate to add depth there.

8. Thompson SS
9. Gio/Bianco/ CF

This won’t cut it…if we don’t see some new comer names in the lineup next year then we will be meh

No you can’t. He has to hit .100 points higher before you even think about being ok with that.

He had the worst average of any starter in 30 years. Probably longer, but I don’t feel like looking. How is that LSU caliber?

He needs to actually go play somewhere this summer. He hasn't gone out for summer ball yet since he's been at LSU.

Was Bianco that bad back there? Any chance he gets another shot next fall if Moller and Jensen both sign?

his confidence was absolutely shot this year.

In the shortened 2020 i remember thinking he was borderline cocky at the plate. Put some good swings on tape.

But shite, he looked absolutely terrible this year. If not a summer assignment, needs to totally revamp his swing, top to bottom.
